And I actually loved it. Don't get me wrong, I like the Canucks since they're a Pacific Northwest team, and I was born in that region, but I gotta show some support to my home NHL team.
The game I went to was them squaring off against the Rangers. It was my first time ever going to an NHL game, and I was surprised that it was so packed. There was a sell-out crowd full of thousands of Rangers and Thrashers fans. I was four rows from the ice, and in one of the private VIP sections. The people in that section get their own waiters to get them food.
Your's truly is a VIP in the Philips Arena.
Anyways, the Thrashers won 2-1 in Overtime, and Johan Hedburg, Atl's goalie, saved 38 out of 39 pucks shot at him. Hopefully I'll have my camera next time I go back to the arena in two weeks, and I wouldn't mind seeing the Stanley Cup come here this season.

Auld ( Who was third string at the time ) played the last few games in the playoffs.
Then there was the lock out, and the Canucks didn't make the playoffs last season...
