I was so hyped when I finally got this game. The hype I felt was reasonably based. As soon as I started playing it, I could not put it down! The story takes place shortly after Kratos kills Ares and ascends to the throne as the new god of war. But Kratos is even more power hungry than Ares ever was, mainly because he is pissed at the gods for not releasing him from the tormenting memories of his past. Athena tries to warn Kratos that the wrath of Olympus grows with every city that is destryoed by the Spartan Army. Kratos ignores her, saying that he owes her nothing, even though she was the one who made him a god. Kratos decides to travel to Rhodes, the latest city that the Spartan Army has layed siege to, to deliver the final blow. Everything goe downhill from there.

God of War 2 is just as good if not better than the first game. The story is great, the music scores are incredible, the gameplay is fun and easy to learn, and the high definition videos in the game are amazing. I would give this game a 10 out of 10. Well done Corey Barlog and the development team behind this great series.
