Even when Jack Wild isn\'t directly in the spotlight, he always seems to shine. Case in point: His role as The Artful Dodger in the 1968 movie \"Oliver!\", which put him on the proverbial map, wasn\'t exactly what one would consider a leading role---Oliver and Nancy were definitely parts than Dodger (there\'s no denying that). However, he stole the show...he just seems to draw you to him with his charisma, comedic timing, and that adorable Cockney accent we (or I, at least) try to mimic. If you can do this while cast as a well-known character, wearing a silly little top hat and stealing valuables from wealthy gentlemen...you deserve kudos. And that\'s exactly what Jack Wild did...kudos, Jack, kudos. Rest in peace.
