Some of you know that I have a 1988 Mustang, but none of you have seen any pics of it yet. I just took some pics with my phone of it today, right aftergiving it a bath,and put them on my computer. Here they are.

front

Back

Motor

Here's the motor. It's an LX model, but it has the GT motor in it. 5.0 High Output 302 cu in.

interior

don't make fun of my fuzzy seat covers They look sexy The seatsneed reupholstered and that isn't going to happen for a month or two. I replaced the whole sterio system (with the help of my older brother).

My pictures may be slightly out of proportion, I had to resize them on GS.

Future Plans

After I get the things that need fixed taken care of, I'm going to do some more to the car. I want to replace those ugly wheels with some cla-ssy chrome ones. I also want to replace my hood with a cowl-induction hood, to make my car look mean

Nice. My dad used to own two. I'm hoping one day I can cash in all my chips and get the new Shelby GT500. Of course by the time I can afford that, gasoline won't exist anymore.
Posted Nov 9, 2009 1:41 pm PT

Wow, nice car. What color is it exactly as I can't really tell from the photos, grey or black? Any plans on a paint job or are you leaving it the same exact color?
Posted Nov 9, 2009 4:36 pm PT
@theM3rcenary
Thanks

@samuraiguns
that's the plan

@McMJ3
Thanks, I love it's power

@SoNin360
sweet, which year/body style?

@jt4mtb
My baby has never even been down a dirt road, and it probably won't ever be

@BPoole96
Thanks, they sure do have a lot of power

@coolkid93
well, unless you live in Kansas or Missouri, you'll probably never, ever see it

@itsTolkien_time
thanks And it will have a lot more done to it in the future

@Shadowflame291

@GrandJury
Thanks man

@ikhzo
Thanks Ford is a great manufacturer, I also love Dodge and Plymouth. I haven't checked MonsterxHunter yet, I'll be sure to do that tonight. I'll PM you what I thought of it.

@8Tango
Thanks They're really sexy, right?

@-Absinthe-

I spent 3 hours cleaning it up yesterday. It had oil slung up the sides of it, I don't have a clue where i came from. I don't really think I'd have a problem adjusting to driving on the left side of the rode and being on the opposite side. I've been to several countries that drive that way.

@_Sharpshooter_
Thanks

@vj02
thanks I don't drive it to school though, to school I drive a crappy 80s 4-banger

@mimicus
My dad's a car collector, and he owns a 1970 Mustang Convertible, a 65 Corvette, and a 32 Ford Coupe. Those are just my personal favorites of what he owns, between him and my grandpa they own over 20 classic cars, all in just as good of shape as my Mustang, and a lot of them even nicer. My granpa owns a 67 Mustang. So between the 3 of us we own 3 Mustangs

Shelbys are always nice, but extremely expensive have you seen that 60s model Cobras run for $350,000-500,000 now? That's insane.
Posted Nov 9, 2009 4:47 pm PT
Nice looking ride, man! I bet she's got some "guts" too. I hate to mention this, but i think that's what my dad "cannibalized" parts for his car (you know). Thanks for the Pic's!
Posted Nov 9, 2009 4:50 pm PT
@SlashDementia3
thanks, it seems a lot of people like the fuzzy seats

@NuKkU
I know a lot of people don't like Mustangs, and the 80s models are my least favorite too, but I still love it. I espeicially love all the power it has

@Serbine

Thanks It seems a lot of people like it fuzzy

@Flame_Blade88
actually, its a year older (I'm assuming you were born in 88 because of your username). Cars are released the year before what their model numbers are (2010 models have been out for a couple of months now)
Posted Nov 9, 2009 4:51 pm PT
@BrettB7400
It's grey, I'll be leaving it the same color. It has some spots that need touched up though, and there are two small dents that need fixing.

@buckugly
Oh, yes, it definately has some "guts" I've tested it out some (I've never gotten it maxed out, though, it would be way to fast to drive it floored on the highway). And no problem for the pics, did you like the ones I emailed you? And did I ever mention that my dad's newest project that he got a while back it a 65 Corvette?
Posted Nov 9, 2009 4:56 pm PT
Nice ride
you replaced the stereo system by yourselves?
Posted Nov 10, 2009 4:52 am PT
nice car!!
Posted Nov 10, 2009 7:58 am PT
Lol @ "after giving it a bath"

My car also needs a bath... badly But it rains all the time here at the moment so I don't see the point!
Posted Nov 10, 2009 1:24 pm PT
@hassanfadil
thanks My dad's a mechanic/classic car collector and my brother is going to school for mechanical engineering, so we do A LOT of car stuff. My brother is also obsessed with car audio.

@ZEYAAM898
Thanks

@Dinkyfish
it rains quite a bit in Missouri, too, but this is my weekend car. It doesn't go out in the rain
Posted Nov 10, 2009 4:55 pm PT

Posted Nov 10, 2009 10:15 pm PT
@hazelnutman
No jumps, sorry I want to bring it out to the drag strip some time.
Posted Nov 11, 2009 6:52 pm PT
