Game Updates, No News Yet

As to my announcement teaser, I'm still working out details and don't want to state my good news prematurely.

I've been slamming some games down the chute, especially ones I picked up at a "buy 1, get 2nd at 50% off":

Ghostbusters (360) - I finished the story and played a bit of online. The story is great and there's a surprising variety of online play. I rented it because I knew I wouldn't get more than about $30 worth of play out of it.

Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix (360) - This game was a lot better than I thought it would be. I wanted to pick up a movie game and see how current gen movie games are, which is a lot better than the average movie game on the NES.

Open Season (360) - Meh. Cute, good for kids, but a pretty standard platformer. There were a couple of cute moments, but that's about the only good part.

Have I played anything from the backlog pile? Not yet, but I will soon, I'm sure!!!

Thank you for letting me know about Open Season and Ghostbusters, I think I'll give Ghostbusters a shot and rent it.

Thanks for the update, like JPL I'm going to have to get Ghostbusters, if only for the nostalgia aspect.

I didnt like Order of the Phoenix, I got tired of the repetitiveness and long walks around the grounds of Hogwarts.

of course some good games - we expect no less from you

after the last few Harry Potters I passed on Order of the Phoenix waiting to see what it would be like and got Disgaea 3 and it is pretty cool so far.

also From Russia With Love on PS2 - not a great game but Sean Connery does the voice so that makes up for a lot

@CodingGenius I was just gonna ask you if Potter had repetitiveness but it seems Alli already answered that for me. I was gonna try and rent that next but after the repetitiveness of Ice Age 3 not to mention recycled bosses(if they had different ways to beat them as you progress it would have been better but it was the same way with ALL of them).

Ooops, I thought that was the newest Potter. I meant I was gonna try and rent Half Blood Prince next but I am now gun shy for repetitive games.(if this happens to be one of them)

i really enjoyed the story of ghostbusters, a sequel without murray and ackroyd would be rubbish though, I tried the online part of the game but I thought that it was terrible!

I always love those deals (I'm a sucker for cheap products ). I prob won't get any of those games, but I have heard Ghostbusters was quite impressive.
