I'm going to be in Taipei, Taiwan this coming week for work, and I'd love it if people who knew the area could recommend game stores or places to buy fun game-related gear.
I feel really fortunate to be traveling off the continent (NA), and look forward to seeing as many tourist areas as I can.
Holy cow! Who knew the midwest was a great place to find cheap last-gen and older games? I've added 100 to my collection in a matter of months, for a total of 599 right now.
Just hooked my PS2 back up, and I am loving Tony Hawk's Project 8 (PS2). Who knew that I would like it more (so far) than THUG2 or THAW?
I've also finished a few DS games since I last posted:
Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir, The Price is Right, and Hell's Kitchen (DS)
I've also picked up Castle Crashers (X360) and Braid (X360), which I've been playing sporadically. Also lots of fun, too. I wish I could get a multiplayer game of CC going. If you're interested, drop me a line!
I want to make a short list of the games I plan to try out soon:
- SkullMonkeys (PS)
- Killer7 (PS2)
- God of War II (PS2)
- Raw Danger (PS2)
- City Crisis (PS2)
- No One Can Stop Mr. Domino! (PS)
- NBA Ballers: Phenom (Xbox)
- Samurai Western (PS2)
- Seven Samurai 20XX (PS2)
- Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII (360)
- BioShock (360)
I've finished my cross-country move, and am starting to settle into my new home. I've moved into a cute house with over 4 times as much room as my last place, and I've finally been able to retrieve all of my stuff from storage. Look for new collection pictures once I have a chance to unpack it and put it onto my new snazzy bookcases.
The egg reference? Allegedly" some previous tenant was mad when they moved out and egged the front window before I moved in. Yeah, you're cool. Making the new tenant clean it up. Did they think the landlords were actually going to clean it themselves? I had to climb through shubbery that I am SURE was infested with recluse spiders, climb the house's rickety ladder that creaked the whole time, and wash off the stupid egg.
Luckily, I've been finding a bunch of cheap last gen games everywhere I turn, so I'm increasing my collections exponentially. Now I can finally play all my systems, too!
