Some people can say, that games take a lot of our time and there's is no point in playing them anyway. Of course they would prefer better to be lying drunk in the bushes for a couple of days, but that is not an issue. Different people have different opinions and interests. I prefer to play and enjoy every minute with my best games, but that doesn't necessarily mean, that i don't like to party with my friends and to spend a lot of my time in the beautiful nature, heck, i have time to spend on everything: work, creations, travel, meeting new people (why not to play from time to time?)...
Many games are deserved to be played, it doesn't even matter which genre it is, until it has some really descent story to show to the player. Graphics seems to be a lot for modern players, but i'm an old-fashioned freak, who doesn't care about sprites much (i still play super nintendo games with square people as main characters that fight triangle monsters on a carton paper as a background). But music mean a lot to me, it gives a relevant atmosphere to it: creepy music in the dungeons, battling music in fights, meditative/psychedelic/trance music in mysterious places etc.
I can say i'm a game geek, i tried every genre there is and i liked most of them, but noticed, that the only genre, that can give you enough pleasure with good plot, music and atmosphere are RPG games. What would i do without them, i'd be a different person! ![]()
