Burcu has given me I'd say the fourth most difficult letter, behind X and Q. But you know what? I'm ready!

Ten things that start with the letter Y!

1) Yes!: Optimism. Yes, I can. That's the spirit to live life by! Yes is a powerful word. Yes can spin an obstacle into a growing point. But say yes too much, and you'll get a bad reputation :O

2)Yale: Good school. Wish I could attend. I'm wondering if I can apply in the off chance I get accepted... a senior at my high school got into Stanford... but he's like the prodigy of the school. But yes.. Yale... good "Y" word...

3) Yard Sales: Hidden treasures? For cheap prices? Great fun!

4) Yugoslavia: It was made its own country after World War I, along with Poland! I really do pay attention in history!

5) Yolk: Everyone knows it's the best part of an over easy egg!

6) Yogi Bear: He makes me strive to prepare a better picnic. Last picnic I had, my sister made microwaveable macaroni and cheese, mixed in jarred spaghetti sauce, and Pepsi. Good times...

7) Yawning: Ahh the tell-tale sign of exhaustion. The yawn. My teachers hate it. I can't for the life of me figure out why!

Yeast: The beloved fungus that makes dough rise. They say that less than 1% of all types of yeast have been described.  Kind of odd to think that fungus is an ingredient in our foods. Other kinds of yeast can cause infection...

9) Years: They have a tendency to pass, now don't they? I think the way Linsey described it, how each year is a smaller fraction of our lives. To one year olds, a year is everything, but to those who are eighty a year is practically nothing.

10) YooHoo: The incredibly delicious chocolate beverage. Yes, chocolate beverage. I hear there's no actual milk in it. We'll have to look that up, now won't we?

That was thoroughly difficult! Now I'm off to watch The Crossing on TNT! I do enjoy spring break very much

Great list, and Yoo-Hoo is my FAVORITE!!! I've been craving it for months, but I have to travel quite a ways to get it. They no longer carry it at my local grocery, and boy, was I mad about that! They sure got an earful. Moral of the story—never come between a pregnant woman and her Yoo-Hoo!
