Who says world peace isn't within our grasp? |
So the past two days I have been on very little. I was on a little bit on the 31st, as I didn't have much to do but chill at my friend's, however I was out all day yesterday.
I didn't get any sleep on New Year's Eve, and I even got kicked out of where I was supposed to be staying at 2:30 in the morning, and so I hung out with my friends outside walking around town for a good few hours. ![]()
In any case, this year will hopefully be great! I had my best New Year's in a very long time, and I hope this is a sign of things to come!
Anyone else had a good New Year's?
If there's one series that can absorb me into a world of fantasy so well that I can lose track of things, including time, it's Final Fantasy. I found myself lately playing Final Fantasy X-2 (as I recently, finally, finished with Final Fantasy X), and Final Fantasy III on DS. I'm currently waiting for stores around me to restock Final Fantasy IV, which when I went to see if I could get a copy there were none. Sadly. ![]()
But Final Fantasy III has gotten me back in the RPG mood. I've already played it a good8-9 hours (as of this blog, and counting)since I got itand I'm already about level 18-20 for my team. I just hit a snag with being a bit underleveled against Hein, the boss that changes his weakness much like Magus does in Chrono Trigger.
I played Final Fantasy III once before, and I forgot how much fun I had with it. Certainly, when I get my hands on it Final Fantasy IV will pull me in even more so than Final Fantasy III is doing right now.
And if I had other Final Fantasy games (before XI, where I stopped liking the series due to the battle system being changed) I'd more than likely be playing those too.
So for now I guess FFIII will be tiding me over until Final Fantasy IV finds its way into my DS. I'm sure you've all played some game that pulled you in like Dark Cloud and Final Fantasy do for me. ![]()
I'm quite sure there's someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas around here so I'll just say that.
But anyway, it's nearing the end of the year, 2010's around the corner, and I have to say, 2009 has been quite a year. For better or worse, for me it had some very high ups and some very low downs, but as any year passes you're sure to hit a lot of bumps.
In the long run it's been a decent year. Not my best, but far from my worst.
How was the year 2009 for you? What do you think 2010 will bring?
