Do to GS cr@ppy text editor (seriously GS, I'm not going to spend another one hour per blog just to see what's wrong with the perfectly looking HTML that you should've perfectly adapted when I pasted the plain ASCII text from another plain text editor; fix your own bugs, don't expect me to work around them every time!), all of my blogs will be on GT (and possibly Facebook and/or Wordpress in the near future).

Go to my blog on GT to read my blog, and feel free to comment here on GS or GT (whichever pleases you most).

Heh, I don't think anybody will care, though. All my friends here are gone and Hush (the only one still alive) already posts all his blogs on Facebook (due to cr@ppy GS moderation and text editor). At least the good side to this is that my blogs here will be smaller, allowing for a smaller page and for people to see my reviews and other stuff (that are bellow the blogs) more easier.

Holy computer batman hehehe, I still don't get your love for Vista tho... really don't I'm assuming you've got it fixed eh? Last I was talking to ya you were still waiting on word about the warranty or something. It's sad what time and the uproar of firings, management changes and the birth of other sites that do this thing better *cough GiantBomb cough* has done to gamespot's user base. I've noticed A LOT of friends left, have made some new ones and kept close with those I could and still plug away at this place. It's sad the state of the blog posting in this place. I share your frustration with the seemingly backwards HTML system they have in place that finds errors where there are none.... EVEN when you're copying over the straight up -non formatted- ascii text! ARG!!!! I've turned to blogger to A) avoid this dumb system and B) keep it all in one dedicated place that I could just link to in sites like this, giantbomb and facebook. BTW - you mentioned my facebook activity... does that mean you're a FB stalker... who hasn't requested a friend hookup with moi? Hmm? Boourns sir, boourns!

Lastly, I may be playing DMC4 soon as it's a game my brother requested for his birthday (it's mar31) - hope to enjoy it as much as you seem to!

Then there's formatting in something as simple as a reply! I had that sucker all broken up into paragraphs and such and gamespot... just lumps most of it together!!! AHHHRGGGGG!

Heh, and I still don't get why you don't love Vista. I mean, c'mon, it runs smooth, it has the Aero interface, all DX10 gaming is on it only (very important to me, since I'm a PC gamer at heart), and well... I just like the overall feeling of quality.

Yeah, I got it fixed, alright. In the end, it was a problem with one of the RAM sticks. They never said what was wrong (ironically, they tested it with the same app that I did, but I never found any problems with it), but I'm assuming it had something to do with incorrect voltage sustainability, because the data could be written to the stick, could also be read later in certain cases, but some reads would fail thereafter, or simply corrupt the data in those sectors (changing zeroes to ones). In other words, I'm guessing it couldn't keep a high enough voltage for it to remember the data well, or increase the voltage so that it started writing to it without any data sent to it.
Anyway, they changed my RAM sticks (with black ones now that match my motherboard and GPUs color, too, instead of the ok blue ones before ), and this solved a whole lot of other problems I had that were apparently unrelated to the graphical corruptions and restarts I've seen (disappearing virtual drives, random processes and services closing for no reason, firefox giving errors upon opening until I reinstalled it [guess the poor sucker corrupted it's internal files when writing them back from memory, to save my preferences, tab and whatever else], etc.).

I've just looked up GiantBomb again... wow, just wow. I'm so loving it. I guess I'll hurry up and register there just so I have my nick reserved for when I want to use the site.

I see you're not on GT much. Not liking it much?

*Checks your profile on GS*
Oh, wait. I thought it was Facebook where you kept redirecting your GS friends to to read your blog. Sorry about that. Now I see that Facebook requires registration to even see your page.

Now that I think about it, Blogspot also wasn't the site you first used to write your blogs after GS, was it? I remember seeing a site where you could place pics anywhere on your blog (left, center, right, etc.), and where you could place text to the right and/or left of the picture. I don't think it's Blogspot, but I've definitely seen a site that gave you this much freedom where you posted your first blogs after the GS retarded suspension.

Haha, I definitely think it's great. It's addictive, that's for sure. I see most of my friends commenting on my GT blog say they weren't too impressed with it, but I certainly am. In fact, I like it more the Prince of Persia HD at the moment.

LOL, GS freaks up even over text typed wholly in its own editor (without anything pasted from other sources)? Wow, that's a new low, LOL.

DX10 is prob the only thing... even 1/2 worth it for me... and even then... lol. Due to the fact that I prefer my playstation for most games.

Yikes, Ram is one important dude eh? Seems like it can cause a whole slew of problems! Glad you got it solved!

Yeah, Giantbomb rawks dude, they're really giving it their all.

I've given up on GT for now. My connection pretty much makes watching videos a huge pain in the arse and that's a big thing for GT. I get my community elsewhere so I'm fine.

Ha, yeah it's blogger where I keep my blogs, funny tho - my blogs are kept as a feed on my facebook too

Gamespot was the first place where my blogs started... and then they moved over to blogger! I tried out wordpress but didn't like it (didn't post any blogs there, just tried it). Ther are options for aligning pictures within blog posts how ever you like and the over all option to go in and edit the html yourself if you're not happy. Loads of features (incredibly easy to use too) for design too... not as robust as if you were making your own page out of html... but it's still nice. HAHA, I remember Gamespot suspending me for my blog title "**** Nintendo" lol!! Thats when I found blogger.

Prince of Persia HD... is that the new fancy one?

Yep, gamespot is that messed up. lol.

Wow, that was a fast reply! *Guesstimates time there* Sooo... are you pulling an all-nighter, or did you wake up early this morning?

Well, good for you! I prefer my PC for most games because of the freedom to do anything with them. Cheats? Sure! Mods? You got it! Better graphics? Of course!
But seriously, I'm loving my PC because the graphics look so much better than on consoles (compared to consoles, I'm actually playing in un-scaled 1050p, which is very close to 1080p, because games have to support multiple resolutions, versus other consoles where it just takes the 720p resolution and just scales/stretches it), because I have all the freedom I want with my games (mods in Oblivion is the perfect example), because I can play almost all last-gen PC AND console games (emulators... gotta love them!) and because I can do a lot of other stuff on it, too.

Aaaaanyway, enough with the PC fanboy propaganda, LOL.
Haha, of course. Everything on the system uses the darn RAM. There's not one thing or program not needing any bit of RAM.
When I heard it's a RAM problem, I almost did a facepalm. That was a gateway to a whole load of problems.

Haha, yeah, it's really hard to stream anything on dial-up, but I was referring to the blogging community there. You don't have to watch videos if you want to (also, to get your daily GTP for movies, you only need to OPEN the page containing the movie, you don't even need to watch it), just use the site like you use(d) GS.

Oh, wow, so GS is really that sensitive, eh? And I'm also assuming you censored the word (e.g.: f**k), since GS won't let you post it with that word. LOL, or was it entirely censored (e.g.: ****)? In that case, GS is completely nuts, since they have no way to know what the word you meant to say was (it could even be "Good" ).

Yup, that's the one. Although it doesn't say HD in the game name, I'm gonna use it to differentiate it from the first (DOS) one (unlikely someone will think that), or the Sands of Time one (very likely).

So... I'm curious, what's the ETA till gamespot implodes on itself?

This also brings a good joke-quote to mind that can be used for GS:

- Vegeta, what does the scouter say about it's fail level?
- IT'S OVER 9000!!!

Haha, I was up uber early as that's the time mom likes to head into town and I needed to pick up some stuff from my bro's b-day.

Yeah I understand the benefits to PC gaming, still prefer my consoles tho. I find PC games hit and miss sometimes in terms of frame rates and how well they're gonna work with your hardware. Last "up to date" game I played on my PC was Bioshock and I loved it, I had to bring down some of the lighting or anti-aliasing (forget exactly what) to get it running at a frame rate that I felt comfortable with, as any noticeable sluggishness really irritates me. I suppose if I had the beast of a machine like you've recently designed then I wouldn't have to worry right now... but I'm just not willing to spend that kind of money right now I also really enjoy, even tho I'm dealing with lower resolutions, worsened textures and such, just sitting back and enjoying a game on my TV.

Ha, good ol facepalms Ram can be a tricky bastard. We had a problem with ram with our (at the time) family computer - which I diagnosed and let my parents know... but they insisted they bring it to a "repair" shop where buddy said the whole thing was busted. Motherboard burned out, power supply shot, ram gone, even pci cards fried. So we went with my idea, replaced the ram for a minimal amount of cash and the thing's worked fine ever since. Yeah... maybe in the future. Like I said, I'm happy with the community connections I have with GS/GB and so till I get the ability to view the videos I think I'll forgo the site. I actually had a capital F followed by 3 little *'s and it got me suspended. ETA for gamespot implosion? Not sure... I actually feel that it'll go the route of severe drug abuse followed by some kind of path of giving hand jobs in back alleys before someone finially comes along and puts it out of it's misery with a nick click, bam of a pistol.

lol, IT'S OVER 9000!!!!! WOO! LOL. I love that quote.

Again!! Man, you're fast!
Ah, that explains it all. I guess uber early means 4 AM or so, otherwise you wouldn't be commenting so fast.

Ah, framerate. Yeah, that can be quite a pain, and I agree with you, you get quite frustrated when frame-rate drops and you have to drop down settings to get it to work with your rig. Still, in case you haven't noticed, consoles get frame-rate drops too. Sure, it's a lot less frequent than PCs and quite rare, but they do to. Though, because devs know all of their users will be on said hardware, then you can expect to not see any frame-rate drop during most games.
Still, that's also some of the beauty of PC gaming: you can run any game you want with a comp even 5 or more years old, though it won't work with all setings maxed, that's for sure. Consoles can't really do that, you'd have to buy a new console just to play the game, whereas with the PC you can play the game and you only have to dish out the cash if you want better graphics.

Haha, yeah, I guess having a beast of a pc solves that problem, LOL. Still, you don't need a beast of a PC to play games at max. If you'd really want a good, not to expensive experience, then I think even $500 will suffice. That would hold you for 2-3 years of enjoyment on max settings. People always have this mis-conception that gaming PCs are effing expensive, but that's because they're to retarded to build them themselves and only look at Alienware and pre-assembled crap (which is also inferior to what you can get if you assembled it yourself AND is also way more expensive).
I've built this comp because I want the absolute maximum gaming experience for the next 5 years to come, and a good deal of my money has gone towards the accessories, too, not just the PC.

Pfffhahaha, was that guy from Gamestop, EB games or other money-sucking desperate shops? Seriously, I would flat out punch him in the face and kick him in the balls at the same time, not to mention insult him until he felt like he's no worse than s**t in the dirt. Good for nothing tards trying to to trick you into buying a new, "better" and "cheap" computer...

Well, your choice, but you don't have to watch trailers to participate in the GT community. Hell, I only watch one a day just for the GTP, and do my blogs and every other stuff like on GS. Then again, if you feel your connections on GS/GB are enough, then I understand what you mean.

Haha, wow, and they banned you for that? Wow... The title could also have been "Face Nintendo" for all they would care. But no, they have to be little @$$t@rd$ with their user base.

Sigh, as much as I really, really wish, I think GS will survive pretty well its members' exodus. Hell, all their money comes from the little anonymous nobodies that come to this site for reviews or trailers.

Haha, that quote works every time. Btw, do you meant you love (more) the original quote, or the modified one I posted?
