Is build 1 really needed or is build 2 sufficient?
How long will these computer last?
Is something not good with these builds?

Please advice!

Extra HD: 300 GB USB 2.0 (UATA)

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (med dubbla processorkärnor)
Internal memory: 2048 MB DDR2 SDRAM (667 MHz)
Harddrive: 250 GB, SATA, 7200 rpm
Extra harddrive: 160 GB USB 2.0
Optisk unit: DVD, 16x max
Optisk unit: DVD±RW/±R/R9 (2,4x/16x/4x/12x/24x/10x/32x max) with Lightscribe-teknik, Dual Layer
Graphics: ATI X1650SE, PCI-Express, 512 MB DDR

Build 1 is clearly much better than Build 2 mostly because of the CPU and GPU, but the CPU in Build 2 is very acceptable, though that X1650 has absolutly nothing on a DX10 GPU like that 8800GTS performance wise...oh and something like Build 1 would last you at least 2 years, probably more ^^

Not that it matter (both builds have it) but do you really need 2048MB RAM?
Furthermore the OS is Vista. Is it stable enough?

yeah 2048 is recommended if you plan to use Vista and play the latest games such as Crysis
