First off, it's been a while, but hey, I'm still alive. On the 22nd it's my birthday, i'd be 15, i'm qutie excited, as i'll be getting into highschool when school starts. The best part of it (To me at least) is I will be learning guitar, as I've always wanted to learn it. I absolutley love music, and the thought of me being able to play is thrilling.
On a video game note, for summer, i'm kinda stuck. For the month of august, and probably september, I can only get one, of two games, that I really, really am anticipating. First, let me say the games, and the pros and cons.
Soul Calibur IV is the first choice. I've been a fan since Soul Calibur 2, which was an amazing, and excellent fighting game. Soul Calibur 3 was very, very addicting as well. So needless to say, to hear that they all return, with more characters, is a god-send to me. The Create-a-soul feature is so intriguing to me, i'm sure i'd use it so much. I'm pumped for the game, fighting games are in my top 5 favorite games.
Of course, you'd think "It's obvious, get SC4" it's not so obvious. The next choice is Tales of Vesperia. Now I only recently got into the Tales of series, but I can safetly say they are amoung the best RPG's i've ever played, only FF, and KOTOR can match them, really. Tales of Symphonia is probably my new favorite Gamecube game, and from what i've played of Tales of the Abyss, it's an amazing series. The combat is fast, and furious, and the storylines are gripping, well told, and sometimes even confusing (I don't care what you RPG/Tales of haters say. ToS has an awesome story) Tales of Vesperia, looks like all that and more. The demo has gotten me pumped. RPG games are my absolute favorite type of gaming. But compelled with Soul Calibur 4, which is a series I have known longer, it's a hard choice for me. ToV will be a long journey, but one that is beatable, and I may just leave it, after playing through 2-3 times. Soul Calibur, seems to be somthing I can enjoy for the long run. It's a difficult decision, on what to get first. Any input is welcome.
So. I'm out of school now, I got a whole summer before highschool (Grade 10) so... yeah, I'm going to have fun. Gaming and friends gallore!
So i've been dragged in the whole GTA hype-mobile... GTA 4 is still awesome, but I have mixed feelings on the hand-held ones. Whatever the case, i'll review them once i've gotten through them a bit more... Now, for the big thing-o-the-day:
I have found the holy grail of stores to buy games. Mostly retro, but they do have Xbox games. They have all the way down to the original nintendo, and work up from there. There are HUNDREDS of games, I'm most interesting in the genesis, and DC ones, but nevertheless, it's a bomb. They have a few Genesis titles, i've actually been looking for, for a good while now (Jurasic park, of the top of my head is one) not to mention, Dreamcast games, are
Well. I'm back again folks. A few more things to speak of:
Got a PSP recently, and Crisis Core. I'm really liking it, I finished Crisis Core, and it was an amazing game. I'll post a review as soon as I can, but you really got to play it, the story is top notch, and I even cried at the end, though, by playing FF7: I knew the ending.
Anyways. Enjyoing GTA 4 still. I play Brawl, Budokai Tenkaichi 2, and Naruto Ultimate ninja 3, when my friend comes over. Life is good. Expect more reviews from me, such as the GTA games on the PSP!
