Downloaded Bowie to play on Rock Band once friends arrived. Download goes through fine. Turn off 360. 1 hour later, turn 360 back on -- RRoD. *sigh* no Rock Band, no Assassin's Creed for a month. Not a nice thing to get just after my birthday.

The same thing happened to me. Looks like I'll expect a repaired/replaced Xbox 360 for Christmas this year.

That sucks. I hate reading blogs like these, it makes me fear if i'm to get it as aswell. How long have you had your 360?

r u sure because i got the RROD today and i turned it off for a while detached all the cabels and it worked fine later. scared the crap out of me!!
