With the writers strike going on things have been quiet in TV land, so I've been watching old Gilmore Girls episodes.

What've you been doing in this time of bad-reality television and no quality TV shows airing new episodes?

(Almost) every summer I find out about (long-)running shows/shows that've already ended which are great but for some reason I never watched. This summer it's HBO's Six Feet Under which is a bloody good show with dark humor. I'm totally into the show and I'm currently going through the seasons. So, if you haven't watched Six Feet Under I suggest you do!

WELL,

the last past weeks have been tough on US television, on quality television and on my weekly download schedule. Gilmore Girls? gone. Veronica Mars? gone. Most quotable US shows? gone. Since the other quotable shows Sex and the City, Absolutely Fabulous and As Time Goes By are gone already that leaves ME, no I'm not saying "us" because I know there are more quotable shows out there which I'm probably not aware of yet, with 0 quotable shows.

This begs another question: What is one to download next?

I'll probably keep Heroes, Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, Lost and Entourage but what new shows are good? I'm asking you, what should I watch (or technically download since I'm not an US citizen) next season? And what is the status of your lives and/or download schedules?
