I can't wait. It gives me a chance to reflect on all the good times and thank all the cool people who have helped make all the hours and days and weeks and months and years I've wasted seem worthwhile in a way. Also I know it sounds stupid and shallow, but ever since I joined Gamespot I've wanted to have the respect that comes with a five digit post count. People listen to you more. It's the truth whether it's admitted or not. Anyways it'll be sometime in the next few days most likely, so keep an eye out for my elite-only mention list.

It's not as though once you reach 10,000 you are just instantly a god, and I don't feel disrespected at all, but you can tell some people's words have more influence in certain ways than other people's. Or if not more influence their posts are just more easily noticed and quoted it seems like. Maybe I'm imagining it.

And I'm sure you're partly right. It seems to me that people who are well known, have high post counts, are female, or mods get quoted and noticed more then others. So....hope you enjoy your fame

funny...I haven't noticed any changes, but maybe I'm not looking for them either. I do know that people like to responde to you, I've seen it in OT. But I just thought that had to deal more with what you wrote about and not necessarily the number of posts you have.
