Suikoden III - first impressions
Well - FInally. After looking for over 6 months, I scored this little rarity. Games that are 7 or more years old are getting really hard to find [ I do not do eBay or the like ]. Basically I have... Yu Yu Hakusho finished - finally. What a trip . ....
Well . .... what an excellent anime series. Long - 112 eps, so there was a chance for great character development and interaction. There was pretty much no filler nonsense. All eps were on track... DUDE - where's my tags?!?
Hardly worth a blog entry, but there is nowhere else to rant since customer service has pretty much ceased to exist. I was working on getting my tag emblem increased but now it seems as though... 17th anniversary today . . . time flies when yer havin' fun!
Wow . . ... who'da thought. I've been with my wonderful wife for 17 years now. What a trip. The first few were pretty rough with barely two nickels to rub together from week to week but our... w00t - network up and running !

So OK - I'm gonna start here and you're gonna say 'WTH is he talkin' about?' - I'll get there. So anyways - it's been about 15 months since our basement flooded. And I mean flooded. EVERYthing... Mission accomplished - Black Lagoon marathon complete - w00t !
Wow - that was satisfying. Good things DO come to those who wait. Watched first season of Black Lagoon two years ago - one of my fave series ever. Been dying to see how it ends ever since. Then... Anime I'm watching now...
Well I tell ya - it's hard to choose what to watch when you practically have an anime store in your basement. So much good stuff to watch, so many awesome games to play, so little time. Priorities... Akira blu-ray - waiting 2 months now. . .....
Well - I am getting pretty steamed right about now. This movie was supposed to release February 24th. Oh, no wait - make that March 24th. Well that has also come and gone and no Akira. I have it... A nostalgic moment - The original Jak and Daxter . . .
. . . STILL just as fun now as it was 7 years ago. J&D was the first game I ever played on PS2. I played it, I loved it, I beat it (all 101 orbs), I traded it . . .. I regretted that last bit .... SSX Tricky - tricky indeed . . . .. ....
Well I started the whole SSX series at SSX 3. Love that game - sick tricks and wild speed. DTS sound, anamorphic widescreen, progressive scan, wicked replays - BEST snowboarding game ever (IMOHO).... April (almost) showers - must game for hours . ......
Well yesterday was a beautiful spring day - sun shining, warm - about 16 C. So out came all the deck furniture from the basement and the BBQ got cleaned, scrubbed, and ready to go. Just had to... Jackpot ! - scored a few more harder to find classics . . ...

Well here's an interesting thing to consider - console game type demographics by region. We basically have NA, Europe, and Asia as gaming regions. Now it's interesting to me that I am in NA and... Tomb Raider: Underworld - Lara goes out with a whimper on PS2
What an utter disappointment. Legend and Anniversary revitalized the TR series and were especially excellent on the PS2 in spite of itself. I have loved TR since the first PC game came out in '96.... One little topic, sooooo much time . . .......
