I used to LOVE Dean Koontz books, I've got a couple dozen or so. I first got hooked after reading "Strangers" and was sucked in from there. I haven't read him in a while though...too busy now with tv.com ang

I read a lot of his books in my language ( I read first Dragon Tears -still best one for me- when i was 10; then i focused on Koontz After then I read , The Face of Fear, The Key To Midnight, Cold Fire, The Bad Place, Demon Seed, The Voice of the Night, Watchers, Shattered, Hideaway and Strangers); Odd Thomas is first original, not translated one for me =.="
