Nice video, it really makes me wanna play MGS 4 now but I can't! 'm gonna have to wait years to own it and hope I don't come across a spoiler until then hahaha.

The music was awesome g! How far are you into MGS4 now?

I'm up to the first boss fight in the second section of the game (South America). It's quite amazing. Oh yeah, did anyone notice? 10 ON GAMESPOT! WOO HOOOO! I'm so chuffed. I might have to give it a 10 too, partly because the story is so amazing (even at the 6 hours in I'm at) but also because it has the best graphics in the world, ever, and the best sound and also because I'm a gun-nut and the weapons are fantastic!

Haha, I've said this alot lately and MGS4 by all means probably deserves the 10/10. However 10/10 has kind of lost its prowess as of late being thrown around too much. Have they lowered the bar after Jeff left or are games just getting better lately?

I don't really think it's either of the two. I'd like to say "oh yeah, games have gotten worse over the years" but that's me looking back with starry-eyes, remembering MGS1 and TimeSplitters, but there was as much crap around then as there is now. I don't think the bar has been lowered since Jeff left. I think a more accurate evaluation is that games today get hyped more and more than they ever used to, as such companies lacking a back-bone, for example C-Net, almost have to give hyped titles, whatever their quality, high marks. That's why there are so many 9's and 10's around now.

That's my theory anyway.
