During the first episode of season three of NCIS, I was wondering who they were going to get to replace Sasha Alexander. Considering the popularity she had with fans, filling her shoes would be a hard job.

DBP evidently took the time (three whole episodes) to finally decide on Cote de Pablo. Now I personally have never heard of her before, and her acting in season three's first and second episodes were ... alright. Although I'll be the first to admit that I found her exotically beautiful, my personal belief was Jessica Steen (who played NCIS agent Paula Cassidy) would be the replacement.

Now, sixteen episodes later, I realize that DBP must've really thought long and hard before casting this woman. Though her acting may initially seem wooden, it seems more like character acting to me now.

In short, Cote de Pablo is an actress to watch.
