It's been a while since I've blogged oops.

I'm in week 2 at the moment, of 3 weeks off at Uni. I don't want to go back because I have exams pretty soon I also have a games programming assignment due in and I just can't be bothered finishing it off. I'm enjoying not doing anything far too much. The good thing about having time off is that it gives me plently more time for playing games.

Currently I'm in the middle of a few games. I've still not finished my co-op game of Gears yet. I'm making my boyfriend, James, play it with me. I'm so scared the of the Locusts and Wretches I only like playing it in the daytime haha. I know it's been out for ages but I watched my bf play this game with his mates like twice so I needed a breather before playing it myself. I've also been playing alot of Eternal Sonata and I'm about to fight the boss at the end of the game but decided to go do this HUGE sidequest that is pretty hard. Not sure whether that was a good idea or not. I don't want to spoil this game for anyone so I won't go into details. But yea, Eternal Sonata is a great game for people that like JRPGs. I really like the story and the battles. Bit of a change from Gears lol. I can't believe I've not even started playing Mass Effect and I bought it ages ago. I was stoked about it when I first heard about it because I loved KOTOR but I kinda wasn't bothered when I bought it. I'm sure I'll get around to it. I've also got a copy of Blue Dragon there that is untouched. I finished Lost: Via Domus and got the 1000 points. It was so bad lol. I just wanted to get the story and thought might as well get all the points! I have to say that the black smoke is scary though. I also keep jumping into Viva Pinata. I love it. Roario's are the best I'm 2 achievements off the 1000 points.

Another game I've been playing alot lately is Super Smash Brothers Brawl. James bought it and me and him have been playing it so so much. We spent countless hours getting all the characters by finishing the co-op on Subspace Emissary. Then spent ages getting all the stages. And because of his love for MGS we even played every character against Snake in the Shadow Moses level so he could listen to all the codec calls about each character. That is dedication haha. We've had a go at the co-op events but are stuck on the Yoshi one (if anyone's played it). I was so proud the other day where we had a 4 player game and I was playing as Peach and I pwned everyone. I even beat Pab which no one can ever do. It felt good haha.

Hope everyone had a nice Easter break. I was dragged down to Chippenham down south to visit family for the weekend which was nice. The only thing was the bed I had to sleep in was so hard and my backs hurting now lol. I hate uncomfy beds! Who doesn't though.

Thanks to James for making my new profile Banner and Blog image!

Anyways, bye!

Ah Mrs Dash. Never even heard of Chippenham - sounds like a village - eww. Mass Effect rocks by the way, play it asap. Ah Viva Pinata, do you have a spare Chippopotamus HE WONT ENTER MY DOMAIN. I get all the correct requirements but the big bastard just won't enter my garden. Credit to James for the awesomeo banner though.

Swannzie, I haven't but if I do get one I'll send him your way. I'll let you know They do look awesome. Maybe he's too big for your garden. Make a new garden, clear it out, get all his requirements again and maybe he'll pop in. You might know of this tactic already though

Beating pab was amazing, possibly one of the greatest moments of all time. It worries me that your coming upto your second game compleated with the full 1000 points. I really need to get moving.

and ty for the praise Swannzie

I'm debating buying Viva Pinata, is it a game you would strongly recommend? I suppose with an animal called a 'Chippopotamus', why wouldn't it be great?

I'm not being funny but you have to buy it. It's so so addictive... one of my flatmates, he was totally obsessed with it for ages. We were battling it out to see who could get the best pinatas. Plus who can't love the cute pinatas you put effort into getting in your garden? It is a good purchase. Should be a reasonable price now too since it's been out for a good while

And Lant I wll never stop playing my xbox

I've been loving Eternal Sonata even more than I expected. I picked it up primarily for my girlfriend, knowing that I would at least enjoy the art style. I'm actually not normally a fan of JRPGs but the avoidance of random encounters coupled with a refreshing combat system with some depth made it perfect for me.
I'm somewhere in Chapter 5 at the moment so still have a bit of a way to go, I think...

Yea I totally agree. The battle system is very refreshing. And I love the fact that you can see who you're gonna be battling and you can run past them if you really just can't be bothered battling them. The story is great too I think you would have been to Baroque. That's my favourite location in the game.
