Well I'm back to using Gamespot. I never really started 'using' it like I said I would a year or so ago but here I am, saying I'm going to start using it again haha. I'm in university now, but my lecture has been cancelled and I'm waiting around for my next lesson, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to blog.
So I've always had a DS and I bought a Wii last Christmas (which doesn't get played much) but recently for my birthday I got an XBOX 360 Elite. I've kinda wanted a 360 for ages but never really had the money. So birthday/Christmas was a great time to try and get one! I'm really enjoying it at the moment. I can borrow all my boyfriend's games and my friends, so I've not had to blow what very little money I have on games which has been lucky. I've been playing Eternal Sonata alot lately, which is great. I really recommend it. It has a lovely story. Battles are good too and the music is really nice. I don't want it to end! I bought Mass Effect for 20 quid in Gamestation which was a bargain and a half, so that's next to be played on my list lol. And, of course, I've been playing GH3.
I haven't bought any new DS games for a while but I've been having little pangs to play Animal Crossing again. But I really shouldn't get back into it because I'll get too emotionally attached again! I'll have to buy some new DS games, but there just isn't anything I really fancy that's out at the moment.
Me and my boyfriend bought Mario Galaxy together for our Christmas present and we've had soooo much fun playing it. We finally get to play our Wii's again! He's hogged being Mario and I help him out with my controller, but you know, it's surprisingly fun. I really do think it's the best Wii game out at the moment. I kinda want to play Mario Party but I just don't want to spend the money on it.
I hope everyone had nice Christmas's and New Years! I went home for 3 weeks and it was nice to be there again. My dad's just bought a 42" HD so I was happy with playing my elite at home =P I need to buy myself a HD but that's just not gonna happen till at least my 21st, and that's if I recieve any money for my birthday! And anyways, my birthday is on October so it's agessss off. I'm so impatient lol. I might start putting the lottery on.
Oooo and go see I Am Legend. It's awesome!

To be honest, as much as i like my DS, i just cant be bothered with anything but mario kart on it, and my wii, me and gf's little bro have nailed mario just about, so umbrealla chronicles now. Though me PS3 is getting a complete battering atm with CoD 4 and Assasins Creed. Never really got into animal crossing, i just couldnt get the point of it or viva pinata for that matter. But each to their own i suppose.

You cant go back to animal crossing, the game is evil. Remember the cube incident, we dont want a repeat of that.

Haha awww I had this little penguin called Cube on Animal Crossing and he was my favourite. But the one day I didn't go on Animal Crossing in a whole year it was the day he was leaving. I was sooooo gutted.

You think you get attached to animal crossing - don't play Viva Pinata then ... tears were nearly shed in the household when one of ours got eaten
As for Mario not tried it ... well haven't really touched my Wii since a near Sonic vs mario @ the Olympics induced heart attack on New Years Eve - that game is a real work out

Oh I know how you feel, I was DEVASTATED when Micky and Minnie my Mousemallows were eaten by some stupid snake on Viva Pinata 
its a good game though if you can cope with 'the circle of life' in action! I've had Elvis the lion in my town on Animal Crossing for about a year and a half now, he's an 'original' villager from the day I got it ,I think I'd actually cry if he left. Its hard not to get emotionally attached, you write them letters, take the medicine, pwn them in fishing competions...lol

I play viva pinata lol. it's sooo horrible when your favourites get eaten. I had a Squazzil called Buizel and he got eaten. It's like having a pet die! That sounds horrible =S
I haven't played it for a while mind. I was trying to Master Romance stuff but it was getting a little hard. I spammed it for weeks then just not played it since. I might go back on it sometime this week!

I use to lurk around news and game reviews, but one day I actually started to post comments and heaven forbid... BLOGS!!
Now I try to keep up with the community simply because its something to do while I'm around on the site. No obligation, just a nice way to kill time... continue to have some solid gaming this year. Sounds like yer on a good track with SMG and ME

Viva Pinata is based on heartbreaks.... i wish my Pretztail would come back, but hes dead....
Anyway I am LegendIs fantastic, very underated. The ending almost made me cry, But one of my mates cried once and was OWND so i thought against it...

Haha I am so happy I've been called a Jedi. It's been a secret for a while now but it was bound to come out sometime.
If there ever was a house of cheese I think i'd end up eating it. Especially if it was made out of Lancashire or Wensleydale cheese :d

Hiya, guess I should start with saying nice to meet you
I always get pangs of wanting to play Animal Crossing again! I can't leave my favourite resident 'Elvis' for too long, plus I only have one more fish to catch lol Mass Effect & GH 3 are awesome too, I'm going to buy GH2 so me & the boyfriend can play co-op on both games lol
