Well... I'm a EGM subscriber... I used to get PC Gamer until their quality really dropped and I got away from playing PC games as much as I used. I like EGM because they review all types of games from all platforms. They have a real command of the english language and can be witty and funny without being corny(most of the time). If you stick to a certain platform/console you might try the brand specific magazines like XBox magazine or Playstation Magazine... I'm not sure about other ones or the mags you get free for subscribing(I'm a basic member). Gamespot for me is the place I go for internet reviews and previews, for the most up to date knowledge. EGM is what I read for comparison and a different perspective on games.

Well, EGM is not totally out of the picture.. but I think that they are somewhat childish at times. I am open to all consoles. I don't have a GC but I still like to hear about Nintendo news. But I also Play PC games and EGM does not cover PC games, if I got that I would probably want a PC specific one. I have never subscribed to a PC mag so I don't even know what to expect out of them. The console specific ones seem to cater to the fanboys and girls. Though i suppose the Demos are a plus. I also like GS waaay more than 1-up, 1-up is obnoxious. Is PC Gamer the same publisher as EGM?

Going to get a Revolution to rectify the lack of a GC problem.

I've subscribed to Game Informer for about 2 years now...mostly just to have a second opinion next to GS's, and because they get some cool exclusives.

No, PC Gamer is published buy a different company other than Ziff Davis. No matter how much they advertise 1-up.com I have never even connected to the site. No need with Gamespot.
