Some of you may have noticed that I've practically been AWOL lately. My blogs have practically dwindled down to nonexistent and my posts/blog replies have as well.

See, I've found this thing called a life lately. I know, we've heard rumors about it for ages but there really is such a thing. I've started dating a guy who is pretty cool once you get past the Riley factor.

Anyone who is familiar with the Buffy Season Five version of Riley will totally get what I mean. I almost decided to give up on this relationship before it even got going because I don't do to well with clingy jealousy crap. However, we did something Buffy and Riley didn't actually do. I told him to knock if off - - and he didn't give up as easily as Riley did. The boy has stamina. I'll totally give him that. He still goes a tiny bit Riley on me from time to time but as long as he doesn't go all in with it I can overlook it. I mean he's got to live with the fact that I don't like to get to close to fast. That can be hard for some people to take.

He totally has the birthday thing down though. Number one, he actually remembered my birthday. Also, he got me some cool things. A Pirates of the Caribbean shirt, the new Nine Inch Nails cd, and "From Hell" on dvd - he totally knows I have this thing for Johnny Depp. That and he has me over for barbecue all the time. He grills stuff up really nicely. He even makes me pancakes ....

Okay, enough gushy crap. I'm so not a gushy person. Really, I'm not.

hahaha. Did you tell this guy he had some Riley factor for you to get over? He sounds pretty good, but if he starts picking fights with your old boyfriends, watch out!

Good for you! I hope to get a life soon...but it's only a dream at this point in time

It's good to see you around. You are missed, but I'm glad your enjoying your life. I will restrain from making any speeches about Riley-like guys such as Xander gave in "Into the Woods."

Well, as long as "Riley" doesn't let himself get bitten by Vampire-whores, you should be good.

I need to get myself one of them new-fangled "life" thingies. I used to have one, but it was broken, so I mailed it in for a refund. I'm still waiting for the replacement.

Yeah, I did actually tell him he had a Riley factor. I had to explain it to him though. He's seen a few Buffy eps but he's not sure who Riley is.

He wasn't happy when I told him about it but he did work on the problem.

Oh, and he has threatened to beat up one of my ex-boyfriends already. Though he is starting to like the guy so maybe it'll work out?

I keep letting him know I have absolutely no interest in getting back with the guy.

Yay on you. I've also heard all this stuff about getting a life, and I'm on the verge of ctually trying to get one.

And those are some kick-ass gifts. NIN's new CD rocks, and Johnny Depp is prettymuch droolage.

vik--droolage love that word

Oh, Johnny Depp is totally worthy of droolage. Mmmmm .... Johnny Depp.

Having this life thing is pretty fun, except I miss all you guys when I don't have time to get on for days.

No, he doesn't look like Riley. He is kinda big and manly like him though. Very teutonic.
