So GameFly just got me to get into their service but unfortunately I didn't get the game that was featured on the email recruitment ad they sent me which happened to be inFamous, and despite it being at the top of the GameQ (the selection system for my account) it and Prototype are both at low availability, and while it went to medium yesterday it's back to low and I still didn't receive any notifications, so I'm not that important yet.

But so that I could get a game, I chose Naruto Ninja Storm because it was never at BlockBuster, due to the fact they didn't carry it, and I'll choose Armored Core 4: For Answer and Smash Bros Brawl (I Have never used Wii's online system and don't even know much about it) later on, but I'm hoping to get Overlord 2 when it comes out, though since I signed up for 1 game at a time (2 during the 14 day trial) I most likely will have to wait a bit... and so it annoys me I can't just get the game instantly at blockbuster, but if I had a 2 - 3 game package which I can't really afford right now, well that would probably be more reliable for me, as I'd send a game or two back as I played the next one... in any case to get off my tangent I wanted to ask the following:

Who here has experience with GameFly, and knows of any tricks or knowledge that can get me the most out of it, as well as any advice or what not? I've played most of the games out that are good, but if anyone also has any suggestions feel free to comment.

Edit:

I'm a big fan of editing things, so be aware that if I have something new to say, it won't get a new blog post unless it's large or warrants it, with that being said I wanted to give an update on the Mature & Intelligent Gamer Union and tell you guys that creation should take place tomorrow.

In addition for the Halo 3 review, it's unlikely it will be done very soon, because I just don't have that inspiration at the moment... I need to get on a roll to get that done so I'll either play through it again quickly for an as accurate review as possible or play a dif game and review that and then continue my reviews.

Enjoy your Father's Day weekend.

Edit 2:

Xbox Live is down for 24 hour maintenance and I'm sick of typing on forums for a bit so I'll be playing some Dawn of War 2 SP Campaign on my better computer with better graphics and speed, since I can't play PC Double Agent because the controls suck and it keeps crashing on Vista.

Being a resident of the UK, I am none too familiar with this GameFly. In this respect, my knowledge of the subject is limited and I can offer no suggestions. I would feel ever so slightly useless if it wasn't for the elaborating edit. I am glad to hear of the Mature & Intelligent Gamers Union once again as I was beginning to become fearful of a premature 'falling off the radar' and a loss of anticipation.

It is good to hear more of it. Looking forward to it Cere.
Sorry I could not be of more help with the GameFly situation.

@Dw-i-ddim

That's perfectly fine, it's not there yet and I'm new to it as well, but thanks for the consider and no M.I.G. (no I don't have jets just yet) will definitely not be falling off the radar.

Edit:

Just listened to an interview about Point Outlook and while it's more interesting, I'm still not sold, but they did mention Zeta, and it sounds good.

I've been using Gamefly for a while and love it. Im on the 2 atime and keep a game while waiting for the next one, that way I always have a game. Really the way to go. The keep it feature is really cool. Probably rented 30 games in the past couple months and still saved money by not having to buy. Even if you keep some games for weeks in the long run it's still a money saver. For new releases, add them early, ideally before release, but with a little patience, you should see prototype. You did the right thing by adding a couple more games to your q, but remember availability is always changing.
