Happy Eid to all my muslim friends. We visited several houses in fine Malaysian tradition, and ate and ate and ate I think I gained a kilo -_-"

Been reading a lot recently. Well, technically it would be re-reading, but there isn't really much happening in the places I bookmarked. Generally, when something is done as a hobby and not as a living, updates really take time to appear, heh. Then again, who am I to talk >_>

Came across an old piano tune that I never got around to practising, finally had a go at it in between grinding on 2Moons. I think I'm gonna quit it, it's just another lame grindfest with the additional fatal distinction of not being admined properly - just listen to all the gold farmers advertising their "services" ingame.

I'm not about to waste my time on a pay MMORPG, besides they're not really all that good either, just look at Archlord for example (it was pay2play before Codemasters (the publisher) re-released it as a free2play game with a Cash Shop). Buggy as all get out, and fairly poor latency / movement prediction. I'm in the market for a decent, simple, even browser-based MMO. Oh, I'm still playing DW:SoE, but it's just TOO simple (heh). I never was a great fan of Enix's Dragon Quest franchise anyway (having Toriyama-sensei (of Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball fame) as their art director doesn't help either, I don't like his sty1e).

I like Toriyama for what he did to the design of DBZ and to Chrono Trigger, but yes despite being a great Square fan I have been a great Enix fan because I never quite settled with the concept of Dragon Quest.

I don't play many MMORPG's.

Aww, I love Malaysians, all the ones I've met are so friendly, especially that girl the other week that saved me from getting crushed under the weight of my shopping load (then we road the 97 bus into the sunset).

My Eid was spent going home, which is bad cos it costs £22 to cover travel, but is good, because I got plenty of money from my relatives (once I graduate I'll be expected to give everyone else money ).

Happy holiday! I hope you are doing more laughing than crying these days...

I love that piece you play, did you write it?

happy holiddays to you too.

I didn't write that piece ~ originality isn't my strong suit (improvisation is). I *think* it's a Tuxedo Mask piece (from the anime Sailormoon), but I don't have the title nor sheet music, just a short audio clip I downloaded god knows when or where.

Oops kind of late... > > But all the same happy holidays

Wait... surely you don't mean you're re-reading the supposedly boring parts (which you bookmarked)? Not sure if I interpreted that correctly... seems odd to me...

I would listen to the music... but... > > Rapidshare never works for me
*blames ISP* > >

Now... Archlord I played it for 2-3 weeks... then quit... couldn't take the number of bugs and lag in the game... hah

I wish Dragon Warrior (Quest?) would go back to having their own style...they really had a TRUE fantasy feel to them back in the day. Save the world from the demon, or the princess from the dragon. Classic. You don't see that anymore.

A Muslim? That's neat. Where do you live (just general of course)?

I bookmark stories, and I re-read them in their entirety. Reading snatches of chapters here and there blurs the impression a bit ^^

No, I'm not a muslim. But in this country they have the tradition that everyone, regardless of faith, visits whoever's currently celebrating something. Awesome concept. This way people at least get to know wtf other peoples' faiths are about, even if only skin deep. Ignorance is what breeds prejudice and intolerance.

Sure, there are still plenty of bastages, but nobody pays attention to them because we know better, firsthand. You can't say "people of X religion are all terrorists" and expect people to agree with you, because they can see for themselves that it's simply not true.

I reside in Petaling Jaya, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city.

Ahh...so you are from petaling jaya. I went there one time for vacation. I am originally from Indonesia but I am Chinese though. I am residing in Toronto Canada now though.

I honestly don't play much of those type of games... but there are SO many of them out there that you'll prob find another worth playing.
