I've been gaming since 1996, and been active in the video-game community for about 7 years. I've also been using GameSpot since 1998. I'm also an avid internet afficionado. I have been using Steam since its release, and I enjoy playing Half-Life 2 mods, as well as Day of Defeat and Counter Strike Source. I have also grown a liking for the Call of Duty and Battlefield series, which got me hooked a while back. I first began 'competitive' online gaming a few years ago when I joined Canadian Club (|CC|), and played in th STA Gold bracket for one and a half seasons before we disbanded and moved on to newer, more advanced games. For the most part I prefer console gaming over the PC, however, with the exception of certain series' and online titles.
