Well the first causality of the season is The Beautiful Life. Wow, the networks did not even give it fair chance. I was enjoying this show, but apparently, not enough people watched the first two episodes to leave it on. So instead, they are going to air repeats of Melrose Place in the time slot, even through they have four more episodes already filmed. I am interested to see how that works for them. I get so tired of watching new shows only to have them pulled off the sir before they even get a chance. I know so many people that will not even watch a new show until either it makes it DVD or a second season. These network execs are going to miss the next big sleeper hit, like Cheers or Picket Fences, because they will not give shows a chance to find a fan base.

After only two episodes my theory is that they were bored for only-god-knows-why and they say "Ey lets try something fun lets axe a TV show you know just to make people mad" and they choose, at random, one Tv show... and it turns out to be TBL and the Melrose Place idea it stupid and Melrose, if we are talking about "axing" TV shows, im really amazed that the show its still on TV because it has the same, maybe worst, low ratings than TBL but well... its Hollywood

Hi Cat, I liked it too! I thought it was different and more darker they other similar shows. I really wanted to see where they went with a couple of the storylines, farmboy Chris (Ben Hollingsworth) had me intrigued as did Sara Paxton (Raina). I also liked Jaime Murray (Vivienne) who was in last years CW show Valentine which I also liked. Six episodes were taped so I hope we do get to see them at some time.
