I am so happy football season is here.... well almost. College football starts (at least for me) on August 30th with the kick off of Michigan Football... GO BLUE... and in my household this is also the day for Michigan State... GO Spartans. Please note that this is a little odd but I have to keep the peace 51 weeks a year and root for MSU too. Although on that one week a year when they play each other... Blue Rules!!!!!

The NFL season has begun but it is pre-season and that means our favorites usually do not see a lot of playing time. Now come 09/07/08... the real season begins. But again my household is split between the Patriots and the Steelers. Oh Well.....

My weekends are full watching 8 hours of football each day :}

I'm off to Caseville and the annual Cheeseburger Festival. I will be gone from 08/12/08 and will be back on 08/17/08. I will process any submissions on the 17th.

I always enjoy this time of year for several reasons. One some of the best episodes fill the TV airwaves and usually leave us talking about something over the next four months. And two I get a chance to catch up on all the recorded stuff from the last few months. This year I am about three weeks behind on my tapes.

Last night I was looking forward to Criminal Minds and CSI: NY finales. But the end of NY I wanted to scream. Two really great cliffhangers, but now we need to wait all summer long to find out what happens. GRRRR...

As much as I love the cliffhangers, I have found that they are so much easier to deal with on DVD when you only need to have that next season set or disc to find out what happens.

Well here is one view that is waiting on pins and needles for September.
