Well last night before coming home from work, I decided to stop and get my shopping out of the way. I knew that I needed to stop at Target because they had the second season of "The Tudors" on sale. What I didn't expect was that I could be walking out of there with a bag full of TV DVDs. I swear that is my weakness in life.

Another show that I can't get enough of is "Ace of Cakes." I watched it for the first time at my ex-boyfriend's friend's apartment and was fascinated by the whole process. I love to learn about everything and watching Charm City Cakes come up with all different ideas/designs for cakes is addicting to me. Well what I wasn't expecting was for Target to have both the first and second season (especially since Amazon says that it's discontinued!). I told my mom about the show and know that she is going to be amazed by it too!

Because I missed it on TV the first time around and because it just seems so goofy and well recommended, I picked up seasons 1-3 of "Arrested Development". It sounds like it is going to be another of those crazy family stories kinda like "SOAP".

My only problem in life is that now I need to find the time to watch all the TV and movies that I've purchased recently.(All of which were on sale or just cheap)

Since I take the train to work I've been reading like crazy. I can't even begin to list all the books that I've read in the last couple of months. The lady at work that I borrow them from says that I'm her fastest reader. Currently slowly making my way through "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. At 973 pages it is the longest book that I have ever read, and a heavy sucker to carry around.

Until next time...

Just make sure to only watch AD when you can pay full, undivided attention. They think nothing of doing a half-second callback halfway through season two to something that happened early in season one--and they just trust you'll get the joke.

Okay thanks for the warning. I'm so excited to make my way through some new TV! Even though I have about 24 hours of it on my computer that I use for my DVR!

Is the Tudors any good? I'm not really a fan of period pieces, so I haven't tried that show. But I do like Rhys Meyers as an actor. Congrats with the great buys! Now, you just have to look for a Target which sells time for a very affordable price. Almost a thousand pages!? That's insane! I think my longest's about 700. See ya around.
