GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

Hadn't played in a couple months. The game is perfectly balanced and the community is still the best I have ever experienced. There is almost no smack talking (I say almost because during my hundreds of hours of play, I have run into a couple idiots, though I didn't run into any yesterday), people are great about helping teammates and people tend to try to win the game, not just rack up body counts.

I didn't suck as badly as I feared I would after my long absence, though I played nowhere near as well as I used to (for more than a year I played Warhawk at least an hour a day) but I was an asset to my team.

I was just trying to get myself into the proper mindset for Battlefield 1943 but since 1943 has so many server issues, I'm going to spend at least a few days more days with Warhawk.

I am kind of hoping Starhawk is as rumours suggest...

Warhawk isnt a FPS so it's usually easier to get back into after a while. I hope Incognito is sharing some tech from the God Of War team for Starhawk because the GOW3 engine looks spectacular.

Dylan Jobe recently confirmed via Twitter that he's working on a spritiual sequel to Warhawk, so even if the Starhawk rumors aren't true, Warhawk fans will soon have a reason to celebrate.

Nice, I still have this game on the shelf waiting to be played. After playing Battlefield, it got me thinking how awesome Warhawk is in the sense that the visuals are so clear, the sound is not muffled, and its a lot easier to strategize with teammates due to the scale of the levels and the perspective of the camera.

F1, I am enjoying 1943 but I agree with you that Warhawk exceeds it (the ability to see the whole map at the touch of a button in Warhawk is very useful, and the fact Warhawks act more like harrier jump jets than proper planes is also nice). Still, 1943 is great game and and a great value.
