Okay, this has nothing to do with the blog, but my internet crashed for 48 hrs, and I haven't responded to your blog comments, I'm sorry, but now I feel its too late. But I will definitely answer all your questions in the next blog.

Tip #1: ALWAYS use proper grammar, if you don't, you will most likely get a thumbs down.
Tip #2: Write clearly so people can understand your viewpoint on the topic.
Tip #3: If your going to write a 500-something word plog, make sure to write in paragraphs, because on big block of writing will seem overwhealming for some users, so they wont bother reading it.
Tip #4: Never repeat the same thing twice.
Tip #5: Make sure when your reffering to your topic, you have correct info. Make sure your reviewing the right episode, because if your not, you will look like an idiot. What I do, is review right after I have watched the episode, which is recommended so everything is fresh in your head.
Tip #6: Try not to use spoilers, if so, always warn them with a ***SPOILER WARNING***
Tip #7: Try not to be too biased.
Tip #8: Profanity is discouraged.
Tip #9: It's happened before, you might get a TOS Violation, if you stop talking about the topic, and start ranting about different views, which might be offensive to others. So make sure to stick on that topic.
Tip #10: Always save all your reviews on Word, after your done. Because if your account gets deleted cause of TOS violations, and you've had over 1000 reviews. Your not getting them back.

Tell me if I have missed some so I can add more. What did you guys think? Good advice?

Sorry that your internet crashed, but at least it's working now. Those are really good tips. I'm too lazy to save all my reviews, but I should do it anyways just in case.

Jon_MW_14: Thank you. Yeah, I was too, until I had a friend on here who lost everything! lol

Hi Tristan, I am friends with a number of other people you are also friends with and we are both in the Supernatural group. I agree in general with what you are saying. I quite often do #4 for effect in my writing style. Also as a teacher, a style often taught is to open your discussion with the same thought you close it with. I have a tendency to write in different styles depending on my mood and whether I liked or didn't like something. Other than that I pretty much stick to your rules. I try very hard to not tell the story even though that slips out every once in a while so Spoilers can be hit or miss depending on the mood. I would say your rules are a very good start. By the way the show Friends is one of my wife's and my favorite as well. Thanks, Jeffery

Sorry your internet crashed! But thanks, that's good advice. I like the paragraph stuff, it helps with the reading, I agree. I am on the edge with spoilers, though. Episode spoilers are Ok in my opinion, you should expect them in an episode review. Spoiling later episodes would be a no-go for me of course. Most importantly, I like arguments. This may seem obvious but I am a little bored with empty love or hate statements, I am interested in thoughts about the episode (comparable to your second tip).

Sucks about the internet I couldn't get into TV.com for around 60 hours so we were both experiencing some trouble. Great tips I have to agree with Ela, for me it's very important to know why you love something. Give examples and try to explain it, I hate empty statements. Especially if you ask later and people are like: "I dunno" or "I don't really wanna get into it now".

Hi Tristan!
Boy that was helpful, since I never write reviews anymore and there are good pointers here if I ever start again. I always used to but when I finished doing Charmed I sorta gave up but I'll definetly go back again sometime and use good grammar and I'll use SPOILER WARNING too
Have a good week!

Sucks about your internet, I hate it when ours crashes... always such a nightmare. But anyway! Some good tips there, I'll definitely keep them in mind if I start reviewing again

jyarter: Welcome to my blog! Haha, thanks for the track. Tracked you back. The Supernatural group is pretty awesome. If your writing a 5 paragraph essay, of course, you repeat everything in your conclusion. So I'm not going to disagree with that. Yeah I agree, it all really depends in what mood your in. Well, if I'm in a bad mood, I would steer clear from writing reviews. Well you should get in to Friends as well. Thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it.

mafalada: Hey! About the spoilers, I put that because it has happened to me before, where I would see if the episode is good or not by reading a review. And they would give away the whole episode. So its okay, for me. Just to put Spoiler Warning. I agree spoiling later episodes. (Hence Tip #9: Stick to the topic) Thanks for your opinion. Hope you have a great Sunday.

12678: Omigod. I totally agree with you & Ela. It's so annoying when they don't explain why they like or dislike something. It annoys me (almost as much as internet crashes).

These are really great tips. I haven't done a review in months. Not sure if I'll ever get back to it, been doing more blogs. I'm really bad with spoilers but have learned to warn of spoilers right off. If i get back to writing reviews I'll be sure to refer to your tips.
