My PS3 seems to have kicked the bucket. It refuses to turn on. And Batman: Arkham Asylum is stuck in there too b/c it can't stay powered on long for it to even eject the disc. I'm so upset and flustered. I called and emailed SCEA in hopes that they can be swift and painless on it's repairs ASAP. But her warrenty had run out long ago. Time to save up $150 USD..... *major sadface* So hopefully I'll hear from my PSN buddies again real soon. I'll keep everyone informed. I have never had anything from Sony fall apart. Especially gaming systems. Both mine and my husband's psones still continue to work, as well as our ps2. *cry*

That sucks sorry to hear that, i can definitely relate to having a system that you put a lot of time into break, it is just disheartening to say the least. Actually i started to get a bit flustered when i though my wii was messed up, i was ready to freak out but luckily it didn't have a problem. Keep us updated and i hope everything works out and your system can be fixed.

That sucks.... I know I haven't been on much, but hopefully all goes well.

Aww, that's terrible. I hope you can get it all sorted out soon. I can't imagine what would happen if one of my systems died on me...

Sorry about that I would have it fixed.

WTF? Um yeah. Sorry, that was just pretty shocking to hear.

That sucks beyond sucking. Sorry to hear that.

Sorry to heat that. I hope you'll find someone to get it fixed. They don't make the newer gaming sys. as good as the old ones. I had a ps2 which I gave to my litle cousins about 2-3 years ago ('cos I was only playing on pc and they were begging me for it), and after all it's still working.

That sucks. I left my PS3 get dusty for a long time because I want to finish Persona 4. And I'll leave it like that to beat GOW2 and end career mode on Fight Night Round 3 on my PS2 too.

That's no good. I suppose there's a silver lining though: at least you don't have to deal with Microsoft's version of customer service.

Aww no. Hope they fix your PS3.

That's a shame. I feel for your loss. I have never known of anyone having a Sony system go bad on them. i know the early PS2's did not deliver as they were promised to but Sony corrected that.Try everything to get your disc out without ruining it. Batman AA could wind upbeing a classic comic book game.

My daughter had(still has) a PSX(PS1) and my son has a PS2. I own the PS3. We all own PSP's.We have had no problem with ours. I hope SCea gets this fixed for you and quickly. At best they should replace the system, warrenty or not.

Sorry to hear that, hope you can get it fixed real quick and resume gaming.

It's been over 24 hours since I first read this. Anyword from SCEA on how to fix your problem or possibly replacing the unit?
Posted Sep 17, 2009 5:21 pm PT
I know exactly how it feels since it had happen to me about 4 months ago with Street Fighter 4 stuck in there. It is such a sh!tty feeling and its BS the sony makes us pay $150. I hope you come back online soon

@ zinoalex - upon a little more careful thinking, it seems there's a power issue but it's nothing we can fix here. SCEA sent me several troubleshooting methods that had nothing to do with my problem lol. But at least verbally and written wise they're nice. So I have to pay $150 so they can mail me a box, get it repaired then sent back. For now I don't have that kinda cash at my disposal....so I'm gonna have to wait a few pay periods

Wow, scary timing. My system has also had problems that just started in the last few days and my $150 box is enroute.... My system stopped reading discs of any sort, I guess the blu-ray lens inside is dead... Can't wait to get it sent off though so it gets back and I can play again.
