I couldn't even tell you the last time I leveled up.,,I wouldn't be surprised if it was a year ago! Well, the kids Christmas break is coming to an end. They start back school tomorrow. I just tell them each day gone brings you closer to summer vacation. I enjoy being home with my kids. They have a few spats from time to time but for the most part it's enjoyable so I'm a little sad, as well, when it comes to an end. Anyway, Tuesday is my endoscopy. I have to go in at 10 a,m. and the hubby is going to drive me. Hopefully, everything checks out ok. All of my other tests have come back fine. Also, my stomach doesn't hurt as much as it was but still has its moments, Most people I talk to tell me it's all a part of the healing process but the doctor wanted to be sure. I've had blood tests and a MRI which all came back normal. So at least I know in other aspects I'm healthy....hopefully time will heal all wounds. Wish me luck.

This is also a birthday month for the hubby and I. He'll be 41 on the 11th and I'll be 29 (again) on the 26th. So already his birthday is right around the corner on Sunday! He's on vacation till that Monday. He's been on vacation since the day after Christmas, He worked Christmas Eve...which left me wrapping presents and I always leave things till the last minute just call me Mrs. Procrastination LOL. The holidays just seem to fly by faster and faster every year. Next, for us anyway, is Mardi Gras which is February 24th. We usually just attend our local parade. It just gets a little too crazy in Metairie and New Orleans for our tastes besides we grew up experiencing it so it sort of becomes old hat if you get my drift. However, if you've ever thought of coming down to experience Mardi Gras I would recommend the parades in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans, it's a little calmer and more family friendly then the French Quarter ones for sure. Although the Bacchus and Endymion parades are must sees. Here's a linky: http://www.mardigrasneworleans.com/parades.html Take care *hugs*

Good luck with your test tomorrow, I'm sure everything will be just fine. *hugs* Happy bday to your hubby, I hope you got him a good present. I've never thought about goin to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, it seems a bit to crazy for me. I like thinks to be kind of low key, which is probably why the idea of even going into Boston for First Night seems insane. Have a good one. *hugs*

Congrats on reaching level 33! My son went back to school today, too. He was glad to go back. He misses his friends. I hope you have good results from your test.

Good luck with the test. Happy new year too.

I've been stuck on the same level since mid June. I haven't done much submitting at all since August although I did pick up a new show editorship a couple weeks ago. All the old editors retired or were force-retired.

Greta...well you could come and experience our Mardi Gras The parade actually passes right around the corner from her on the Sunday before Mardi Gras. I guess it's for people who still go to the parades in Metairie and New Orleans. I've already had some king cake, too. It's good stuff. Some are plain with the icing and colored sugar (in Mardi Gras colors) and some are even filled with Bavarian Cream, Strawberry, Cream Cheese, and so on. My favorites are the Bavarian Cream and Strawberry. I like things low key myself...guess you get less tolerant with age LOL.

IM...Hey...thanks. My poor son ended up with a stomach bug. Poor thing threw up most of last night and is still having an occasional issue. He's always been susceptible to stomach bugs. Even when he was a baby he had reflux for about 2 mos. It just started one day and disappeared just as quickly 2 mos later. My niece came over for New Years and she had thrown up the night before I'm betting that's where he got it from. My daughter is going to stay home with him tomorrow from school since I have that endoscopy scheduled and my husband has to drive me and stay the duration of the procedure. He's 13.5 and she's 16.5 (both summer babies) and I don't want him to stay by himself. Anyway, hopefully all goes well with me tomorrow and with him getting over this bug.

Home...hey! LTNS. Thanks and happy new year to you, too. Well, I'm actually surprised I haven't been forced retired considering I really haven't been active on my editorships. So many people have abandoned the site it's sad. I miss all the old regs. I also can't stand this revamp...it's too darn white. They need someone with some web designing skills to get busy! It was good hearing from you
