I've found out the hard way that sarcasm is apparently difficult to spot on the internet (if you don't know what I'm talking about, check out my latest video: Episode Three), so I've decided to do a second part to my last blog, this time showing you some of my actual favorite games. It should be up within the week if all goes well.

Hey there CVGShubert! Yeah, I can't believe those guys could not tell it was a joke. It's an ancient game and everything that you mentioned is a JOKE compared to today's standards. Maybe, they just don't know you, I guess.
As for advice: I think your bread and butter was the ninja gag, to be honest. It was hilarious. Maybe if you end all of your videos with that, it would be enough for people to know you are joking. You'll have to figure a way to work that in there. Maybe the ninja disagrees? LOL
Don't worry about those bad comments. You have, by far, more intelligence than they do. There are so many idiots out there, that you cannot possibly hope to escape their drivel, so all you can do is just ignore it. Just laugh it off! I think it's funny that they didn't get it and they should be embarrassed! I don't mean to fill your head with grandiose ideas, because I want you to stay grounded, but don't let your feelings get hurt by such ignorance. If you expose yourself to attack, expect it! Then laugh it off, when you know they are just to stupid to give good feedback. Do you want them as friends? Probably not! The ones that got your joke and left good feedback are the ones you need to listen to, certainly not the ones that were insulting you.
Why do I think that so many people cannot tell you are being sarcastic? Look at all the religious fighting that goes on. They preach peace, love, and understanding, yet all they want to do is kill the person that doesn't believe what they do. Savage, ignorant people, if you ask me. The world is full of em. These kind of websites are open to anyone and everyone and there is no IQ requirement to get involved. However, you'll notice that all of the comments, that were more than a few words, were actually made by the more intelligent people and each one of them either got your joke, right away, or at the very least, didn't insult you. I don't think you should put a note in your video about not being serious, because you are right, it would be too obvious and therefore, would not be a very good joke. Maybe you could let out a *chuckle* once in a while, as if you cannot contain your laughter about the absurdity, which will show that you are not serious. Also, I think you should leave it up there a while, you'll find more people will see it and I think you'll get some more intelligent responses. At least, I hope so.
Anyways, I think you're brilliant, and I do hope you continue to make great videos, because they are one of the best parts of my day! hehe

Thanks very much for the comments Hamarabi, they are always appreciated. I think I have a very good idea now of what is too serious, bordering on boring, and what is perhaps too sarcastic. I know now what will be a healthy mix for my upcoming bogs. Thanks!
