Hey everyone! I am officially back from Italy(we had to change the date of the trip to the beginning of March since I needed to be back for April 1). We were there for about three weeks. Which was really good gave us lots of time to visit and explore.

I had so much fun. My family loved Ethan(they never met him in the three years we have been going out since they live in Italy).

We went to Rome, Milan, Venice and some other small towns. And I swear I gained like 20 pounds eating all the good food. We saw all the sights and museums. It was amazing and I am so glad that Ethan could see where I com from.

Unfortunately we had to come home(got in on Sunday) so we could get back to work.

Wedding News:

While we were in Italy we decided where we are going to have the wedding. We are going to have it in...ITLAY! The ceremony will be held in the same church that my parents got married in and the reception will be held out at my Aunt and Uncle's vineyard. I am so excited.

Hello everyone! I can't beleive that I haven't been here for a really long time. A few things have happened in the last couple weeks that I hopfully can explain in the next three paragraphs or les.

As may have said in previous blogs, work has been unusually busy. So I have been bringing home a lot of demo paperwork. Anyways, I am not one to complain when all these people are bringing in lots of business.

As you all know this month held the day the most people wore red, got roses, candy, etc. Mine held a wonderful gift that was held by Ethan. The sweetie that he is, bought plan tickets to ITALY! I am so excited. My whole family lives there, minus my parents and a few siblings that live here in Nashville. I can't wait to go, we leave at the end of March. I have already called overseas and my grandma (nonna) and grandpa (nonno) are really excited. Nonna is making all sorts of plans on what types of food she is going to make. I am soo going to gain 20 pounds when I am there.

As soon as my mom found out that me and Ethan were engaged she kept saying that it takes a lot of time to pick a date for the wedding. (Some moms are crazy ) She was sure surprised when I walked into the studio (my parents are the PR managers there) last week annoucing that me and Ethan picked a wedding date. Now we can start looking at locations (already have but now we can find locations and give the date). So we have decided to go with a fall wedding.

There we go explained weeks in only three paragraphs.

I am engaged! I am engaged! I am engaged! He finally popped the question! After three years he popped the big question! Will you marry me? Obviously, I said YES! I am engaged!

The proposal-

The way he did it was amazing, adorable, sweet, and surprising.

So I went into work like I normally do about an hour after Ethan leaves. When I got I sort of knew that something was going on when everybody was grinning like that cat in Alice in Wonderland. But I continued on to my office, then into the recording room to help a "new client" fix ademo tape that was a little shaky according to my assistant. Anyways, as I was turned around, to listen to the tape for the first time, the "new client" came into the recording room.

So it was a really bad demo this guy couldn't sing if his life depended on it but just as I was about to turn off the tape I heard the person say "Katie, turn around someone want to ask you a really important question." Ok, that freaked me out a little but I knew that voice but just couldn't quite place it. I turned around and found that Ethan was in the recording room with thousands of red and white roses surrounding him; he was holding up a small box. At that moment I broke into tears because I knew whatwas coming next. My assistant turned on the intercome, not just for the recording room to the sound room but for the whole office, everybody could hear what happened after that.

Me- "Oh my god!"

Ethan- " Katie, you are the most wonderful person that I have ever met and I could imagine my life without you. Will you marry me?" (Something along those lines.)

Me- Blubbering, crying "Oh my, yes!"

I ran out of the sound room and into the recording room, and practically tackled Ethan to the ground. I am still in shock I don't think that it has truely sunk in yet but waking up beside him this morning knowing that I am going to do that for the rest of my life is amazing.

The ring-

Simple yet very elegant. It is white gold, with one raised diamond with three diamonds inset into the band on either side of the raised diamond.

I really can believe this. I keep looking at my ring and pinching myself to make sure that I am not dreaming.
