Man, and here I said was I was back and I go almost two weeks without posting. In my defence I've been really busy. If you been living under a rock or don't live here in the US (which is cool), the presidental election is next week. You can tell by my Pic on my XBL gamertag who I'm voting for. I'm doing more than just voting, I'm a volunteer here at a campaign office in New Jersey. It has been getting extremely busy leading up to Election Day and because of this it has taken a big chunk of my gaming time. Hopefully after Nov. 4th I'll have more time. I been restricted to only playing on weekends for now.

Ok, enough excuses, I'm only playing two games right now. I went looking for Yakuza and found it used for only ten bucks. I'm really liking this game so far. As a kind of beat'um up, its alright. I do have to fight a little with controls every now and then. Though what is keeping going really is the stroy. I'm very intriged by it and it's rare we get see these types of sories in games. If anyone can recommend any good books or movies on the Yakuza, by all means drop them in the comments. The other game I'm playing is SOCOM: Confrontation. I kind of have a love/hate realationship with this game right now. When I'm actually playing the game, I love it, adore it even. I just love playing in a match, with friends/clean I've play with since the first SOCOM. We are all still getting use to playing again together but it is still great to play. When I'm outside of the game....it makes me.....god help me. It feels broken, no IT is broken. All of the features Slant Six promised either are not there or just don't work.

For example, I'm in a clan (FCC hola) but I don't carry the clan tag b/c everytime our clan leader sends me an invite it gives me some danm server error. None of my stats show, I can't get messages or invites. It is really fustrating b/c when I'm playing it plays beautiful and I love it to death. It's just outside of the game, the funtionality is broken. I kind of feel Slant Six brought this on themselevs when they put out the beta. Mabybe they should have took that time fixing some of funtinality for the final release instead puting out patches for the beta. I look back now, I would of had no problem having them release no beta and pushing the game back to like mid December if that meant that game would run bug free with all the features they promised. I know there is a patch out right as of this posting but I have not downloaded it yet. I hope it fixes somes of my problems b/c this is a really great game.

Well, that's all I got for now. Oh, my 360 is still broken and I haven't sent it yet for repair. As soon as I can spare some cash, I'll get it fix. That Mirror's Edge demo should be done downloading now so I'm off to give it a try. One more thing, if you are 18 and is registered to vote, please, show your support for the presidental, US Senate, House of Rep., and your local gov't and cast your vote Nov. 4. Then I'll know all this time I'm spending is going to a good use. Thanks.
