well I was wrong! Vivica A Fox was voted off last week... Though to be honest I've been pulling for Mario Lopez since it started anyway. Silly bad boy that he is!!
But he is a darn good dancer thats for sure

I'm enjoying Veronica Mars as usual... though I have to say I'm not quite as glued to the TV as previous years. Still GREAT, just lacking something I just don't know what.

Gilmore Girls is not so good... this past week it was a little better, the comments were more gilmore-ish again... got a kick out of the Pop-tart talk. And glad to see the Grandparents back in the picture.

Ghost Whisperer is WOW!! I was sad to see Andrea go... but am enjoying the story-line regardless. Love the new addition

Bones is getting more gory in my opinion... love their chemistry, but could do without some of the details (weak stomach i must admit lol) and not really liking the new addition to the cast.

and for the new shows..

I love Jericho!! I'm totally addicted.

Liking The Nine a lot a little confusing at first, but keeps you on edge and wondering what happened.. the cast is amazing with so many well known faces

Enjoying Standoff... love their cheimstry... though I've read somethings saying the ratings are not so great. Guess I'll just watch it for what it is and not get too attached lol

Hated Six Degrees and Brothers & Sisters.... Sorry

Autumn is my favorite time of the year... not only for the wonderful fresh crisp air after all that hot sticky summer weather, but for the Fall TV Line-up!  Sound pathetic?   I just love to be entertained and every year before one season is officially over I'm already wondering what new shows will begin in the Fall haha!   Yeah I get it, I'm a TV junkie, but I figure anyone reading this is probably on here for the same reason!  lol

So today officially marked the new season for me with the first episode of the 2nd season of Bones.   Of course I haven't actually watched it yet (thank you trusty VCR) but I'm really anxious to and decided that since last year I flaked out on posting to my blog here I will make an effort once again to track my WAY TOO MUCH TV habit with all my thoughts on the new shows coming soon and old favorites returning.

The 3 favorites returning are Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls (yay these 2 are on together now thanks to The CW!) and Ghost Whisperer..

And as mentioned above I also love Bones, along with Crossing Jordan, Las Vegas and Medium (not too sure this one is coming back? not finding much about it online)

There are shows I've watched previous years that are returning that I most likely will not continue watching such as 7th Heaven (why did they bring this back after giving us a 10-season goodbye that I thought was long over due in the first place?), One Tree Hill (just got sick of all the boring drama here), The O.C (ok well I was never really a die-hard fan in the first place, but come on you killed off Marissa!  what the heck good is it without Ryan and Marissa?) and Supernatural (just couldn't get into this one last year and stopped watching it when they switched nights)

New shows coming up that are going to get my attention (well at least for the first episode anyway!)
Six Degrees
Brothers  & Sisters
The Nine
Standoff

I'm really looking forward to seeing Six Degrees the most... the whole theme is very intriguing.

Another favorite that is returning is Dancing with the Stars!  I really enjoyed the last 2 seasons of this and am looking forward to this one even more so since there are so many great stars this time!  Can't remember them all right now, but some that come to mind are: Mario Lopez, Joey Lawrence and Vivica A Fox.. Even though the show hasn't even begun yet, I want to make a prediction that the winner will be Vivica!  I can't even give you a reason, I just think from watching her in Missing that she will be a great dancer.  She was great in Missing, but I didn't think it was the best part for her and it will be nice to see a more real side to her here.

I promise I will post my thoughts as the new shows
begin ..

OK, it might help if I actually remember to post about the TV shows here!

Anyway, First up I'm going to have to say I really enjoyed the first episode of Ghost Whisperer last week. I was really impressed with Jennifer Love Hewits acting even though I'd read so many other comments and articles where people say she can't act. I remembered her from Party of Five and thought she was ok in that but she's much better in this! This show had me from the very first scene when they showed the little girl at the funeral talking to the dead guy. And the next scene was her all grown up and getting married. From that point for the next 10 minutes I was scared out of my mind.. and once the story between the dead guy and her began I just cried and cried and cried. They get an A in my book for fitting in so many emotions in that one hour time slot

Sunday Night: Charmed was really great! I wasn't sure if they could make it believable and come back after how it ended last season. But they seem to be coming back with a bang.. I think it's gonna be a little annoying with the switching back and forth between who they all see and who everyone else sees though.

On to Monday Night: What an amazing show Medium was for their opener this season! I've been singing "I Will Survive" all week long! It was the perfect song for the episode and made me wonder if they planned the story around the song or found the perfect song for the story LOL

Tuesday Night: Gilmore Girls.. I just love this show! However, this weeks wasn't the best of episodes. I'm not sure I like what they are doing with Rory. And what is the point of putting Paris in the show to do pretty much nothing?? The best parts of this episode was Paul Anka (The Dog) I just laughed and laughed when Lorelia babbled on forever about what she would have to do with the dog until Luke finally agreed to take him lol. And I'm getting annoyed with the TJ parts..it's taking away from the story. We need to see Rory and her Mother make up, it's the main point of the story is the interaction between mother and daughter.

Wednesday Night: I was so very anxious to see the new year start for Veronica Mars!! This show is my absoulte favortie right now. I've been dying to see who was at the door! And it was Logan.. So at the start of the show Veronica and Logan were the couple and I cheered! But more then half way though they showed us that in the middle of the summer Logan and Veronica had a bad argument and he was screaming at her and smashed a lamp and her father came in and threw him out. Now we see that she is with Duncan, at first I was pissed since I really enjoyed her chemisty with Logan last season. But as the story went on I started to see how much better Duncan really is for Veronica and how much he really cares for her, Logan was just being to violent (not that I blame him since he lost his Mother to suicide, his dad was convicted of murder of his best friends sister, he was arrested for murder when really he was the one attacked and now his girl friend was breaking up with him), however at this point in time Veronica needed something better and Duncan seems to be it.
The end of the episode had me thinking about it the whole next day! When the field trip bus drove off the cliff killing everyone in it my mouth dropped to the floor. I understood the meaning of Veronica seeing Lily again and sort of making up with Weevil after the bus left without her (thank god! lol). And the way that Duncan grabbed her and hugged her after he had thought she was on that bus made me cry... and the words in the song they played was perfect. Who ever chooses the songs in this show does a perfect job. I've always been big on lyrics fitting to a moment even in my real life

OK thats all I got for now since I haven't watched my tape of Everwood, The OC or Bones yet.
