Watched Jason Statham and Jet Li's War last night... and damn it was pretty bad. In case you havn't seen it, DON'T watch it. First of all, if you're a Jet Li fan you'll be disappointed because A) There's not a lot of wushu actions in there, and B) He only has about 30 - 40 lines throughout the film. And if you're here to watch some crazy gun fights with Jason Statham or if you're expecting this film to portray Statham like Transporter does, you'll be disappointed too. In this movie he plays the captain of a special group in the FBI. It is really a bit unusual and uncomfortable to see Statham playing such a role, not to mention he does not fight a lot in War like he did in Transporter I and II. Plot wise, this movie is more of a thriller than another straight foward action flick... I'm not going to ruin the plot for you, but there's a little twist in the end of the film which I, although turned off by the rest of the plot and a lack of real action, really liked.

Ultimately, this really is a film with a lot of potential... if only the directing was a bit better and there are more real actions scenes in it. I'll say, don't waste your time watching this film.
