I think Mass Effect or Call of Duty 4 should easily take it down. I didn't think that a normal old war FPS could win GOTY but CoD4 is friggin' amazing and I would vote it GOTY if it wasnt for Mass Effect. ME was even better than I thought it would be. It's just flat out great. The only thing thats bugged me about it so far is it has the same problem as Oblivion when it comes to the dungeons (dont know if you could call them dungeons in ME). They all look the same. They have the same layout but with different objects in different locations, but the great main storyline missions and the (so far) interesting story make up for it. I cant wait to go through it a couple more times. I dont think it deserves an 8.5 I would give it a 9.5 and its defeintely getting my vote for GOTY so far.

Maybe Bioshock has a chance but I can't say for sure since I haven't played it yet for some reason. I dont think Halo 3 should be able to take down these great games, but it will probably win. *sigh*
