So as of yesterday I was forced to resign from work for no apparent reason. "Due to my pending resignation to go to Japan", but what resignation? I never formally turned in my resignation since I don't know the exact date I'm leaving. I'm still waiting on my student visa and until I get that, I'm not going anywhere. Even though I absolutely hate my job with the burning passion of a million suns, I'm still pretty peeved that it all ended this way. I was expecting to earn a little more cash for Japan before calling it quits and the corporate fat cats upstairs decided that they'd just rather get rid of me altogether. I'm fighting the termination since technically they let me go for no reason at all which is practically illegal. If that doesn't pan out though then I'll have to find a new job so I might be moving to DC and stay with my uncle for a couple months and work some temp jobs over there. Luckily they pay a whole lot more than I make here so I should make some serious cash in the next two months. Well I just hope everything works out for me and maybe this is a blessing in disguise. I'm sure God knows that this job isn't right for me and that I can get more money elsewhere. I'll just go with the flow and see where it takes me.

Other than that I got a new Cat, his name is Harley and he's pretty b-itchin!

Well, I would say "sorry to hear that", but you hated that job anyways, soooo... Congrats man! Eh, don't worry about it, things will come around for ya. Just don't forget to take your PS3 to DC with you. And, fyi, you may check any papers that you signed when you were hired, because a lot of companies make you sign something that says basically that they can shyt-can your a$$ fo rno good reason at anytime. We do, anyways.

That sucks man, that's why I'm glad I'm unionized, the bigwigs can't fire me for stupid reasons unless for obvious reasons. But yeah, you should definetly find another job in DC, check the White House if there are any openings

hahah yeah I'm working on my new resume and I'll try apply for a few jobs I found over there. Apparently, Texas is one of those states that's basically "Anything goes" kind of deal where you can fire someone for no reason at all apparently. BS if you ask me.

You arent alone bro. I was laid off from my job too on my second day back to work after Christmas. Ive been applying to some other positions and Ill find out if I get my second choice the end of this week. Im hopeful yet doubtful only because of some of the politics behind some of the managment. My first choice isnt hiring still because of the hiring hold. Even Dreh was laid off so SC is dealing with extra right now too. Tis the season huh? Anyway, I think we'll both be better off anyway. Good luck man. Ill be back around once I get back on track. I hope the SKS is doing well, I just havent had any time. Im off this weekend so I may see you on CoD. Later.

Haha at least we're not alone! Yeah man, I've been trying to beef up my resume and I've been applying to a lot of jobs in the DC area. I hope I get the one I'm looking forward to since it's a pretty easy job that I know I'll like. I've been on CoD for the last couple nights and I'll see about bringing my PS3 with me to DC although I don't know if I'll be able to get online there. Oh well, we'll see.

Sounds like you really want to move so I hope you find a job in DC. Too bad you cant just find something close. You should check federal and county jobs, but you wont be in the US much longer it seems. Its amazing all the jobs that are out there that people just never think about. Best of luck to you. My (hopefully new boss) still hasnt told me if I have the job yet, but Im really hoping I do. I actually helped out with it last night and caught a couple problems on the ramp and then went out and fixed them. Why they wont hire me...? They keep hiring crack heads and other worthless people like that. (Yes, even fail pee test) Well, best of luck to you bro, and Ill get with you when I can.
