For the longest time companies such have Capcom have released their fighting games (Street Fighter) and made changes to them through the course time (Super Street Fighter 2 Hyper Turbo Edition.) And while that worked before, in this day and age they better not do the same thing. I have noticed that Capcom and Arc System Works are both guilty of this, as the Guilty Gear franchise has done much the same thing, and with DLC, hopefully this will come to a close. After all, Sega has released the updated code for Virtua Fighter 5 as an update on PS3, whos to say you can't add a character or two so when the sequal arrives I pay 10-15 bucks to get my copy of the original updated, assuming its stil running on the same engine of course. But if Capcom DOES do things like, Street Fighter 4 Hyper Mega Beatdown Edition 6, I can garuntee you I'm not buying it after I have 4.
