When it comes to game industry, Brazil's got a big issue.
In Brazil, most people own a PS2, so they can buy pirate games for like, U$ 2,50. Some have an XBox 360, and they can buy pirate games for U$10, 00 to 12, 00. When I went to the USA, I bought a PS3, mainly because I'm a Final Fantasy fan, and, at first, the game was a PS3 exclusive... In Brazil, an original PS3 game costs about U$ 85,00. Pretty expensive, eh?
Nowadays, people who have current generation systems and play pirate games, can be banned from online networks. I'm talking about the XboX Live, since PS3 consoles don't have pirate games yet because of the BluRay technology. The question is: Even if there were pirate games for it... Is it worth being banned from online networks and not being able to play online just so you can buy pirate games? Games are, more and more, focused on online gaming experiences, so, people must consider that before thinking about buying pirate games and modifying their systems so to being able to use them.
Now, from U$12,00 to U$85,00, there's a huge gap! I mean, how can I buy games often with prices like that? GameSpot could give me some games and I could work for them, lol. I mean, seriously. Aren't video games a complicated issue regarding Brazil? Yeah! I really wanted and I think I am going to buy Little Big Planet and Tomb Raider Underworld. But just imagine! U$170 for that! It's pretty expensive... Damn!
Take care, everyone!

What's up, everyone? My name is Rafael and I'm from Brazil! I really wanted to write reviews, but I can't... I'll tell you what: that sucks!! I don't know how to improve my rank yet, but I know I'll get there! I've got some things to say about the PS3 games I've played so far (which are all in my collection).
That's it for now! I'll get back to you later.
