I was having a problem with my ps3 for a couple of weeks now. Not a serious problem, just an annoying malfunction that was preventing me from downloading any pictures. I fixed it by totally resettling my ps3. As a result, I lost everything Goodbye my saved games, my completion of DMC4's DMD, goodbye all the music I had stored, goodbye my old psn account (BrandonR89 [actually I might have been able to recover that but it would have taken some effort and c'mon, it's sunday!]) Hello new psn, hello all my games that I can now spend time beating again, hello fresh start, so all you ps3 users say hello to BrandonR21 my new psn name (BrandonR21 !! ain't I good at names!) Another thing, I am without a piano teacher at the moment. I'm trying to get in with some pretty advanced ones, but they're not calling me back for whatever reason. I asked my teacher from last year if I could go back to her and she says that I've surpassed her.

I'm trying to do more regular blogs, but I need interesting stuff to talk about! Well last night I went to an open mic night at the local pub. It was interesting because my town is having a huge music festival on the weekend, it's called the Global Festival, there's music from all over the world, so there were some tourists in from all over playing their unique music. A singer friend of mine suggested that we form a duo, she sings, I play the piano, and we'll start performing at these open mic nights every couple of weeks. So now I'm transcribing a song for the piano. I got a guitar tab with chord progressions off the net, but I don't like the sound of a couple of the chords, I want to change them. The song is Wake Up Alone by Amy Winehouse. Oh and I'm also playing at a charity event. I only know for sure one of the songs I'm doing, Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, there's probably 3 more I'll be playing as well.

What's happened is the music store I get all my stuff from has closed down and I want to get my hands on some Chopin Nocturne scores and I need to find a new way to get my sheet music, so I'm sad And what else? I got an invitation to a new job interview this morning so I must try to do better this time!
