Tell me why I don't like Mondays
Ever!?
So after a bunch of weeks of exams school has finally finished. I don't really know what to say, I guess it hasn't sunk in yet that I'm never going back to that school... though I do feel kinda annoyed that I wasted all that time, looking back I thought there was two options for me during high school;
1) Piss about the whole time, mess around and just have the best time possible and not care that I get bad results and just be happy I had a great time.
2) Work hard as hell and get the best results in the schools and be happy knowing I tried my best and got great results.
However I did neither of these, I often stayed off school because I couldn't be bothered going in and I also didn't work hard and I'm going to get medicore results... which I'm sort of regretting, I should have went in a lot more.
Maybe I'll make a more in-debth blog post about leaving school later on when I've thought about it more and I've actually realised that it's all over.
Right now I'm just sitting at home not doing much, just kinda enjoying the fact I have 11/12 weeks of just doing whatever the hell I like, then I'll be starting my computer course at College (although that depends upon my results, I need 4 Cs and 2 have to be English and Maths, I reckon I've done good at English and I'll get a B or a C however I suck ass at maths and... well I hope I've got a C)
As for games, still not much... Havn't played GTAIV for a good few weeks now, there's just nothing to keep me going back to it but maybe I'll get back into it in a few weeks. I bought Portal the other day and completed it in 3 hours, although it's a short game It's very enjoyable and it's easy to appreciate it as it's a unique idea and a totally different experience than what you get with every other game, it's only £10 so I recommend it to anyone reading this. Also been playing some Audiosurf, again another 'different' type of game, it's also very enjoyable however the concept gets dry after a while as there's lack of goals and you run out of good songs to use.
That's about it for now, not much more to say...

Well I took some photos of my room because there was some topic on some other forum I go to called "post your pets" and another one called "post your computer set up"

Meh they're too big to post *changes it to links*
Well it's been a long time since I last made a blog post, not much to talk about really...
It's the beginning of the Easter half-term, so I'm just going to be chilling for two weeks... I should start revising for my GCSEs but I'm too lazy
There's some booster lessons on during the half-term but I don't know which days, time etc. so I'm not gunna go to any. Also last Thursday I had my college interview, it went well and I'm actually looking forward to going to college however the IT course requires four Cs in GCSEs and 2 of them must be English and Maths, my estimated grades for English and Maths at the beginning of the year were C but for some reason when my year head wrote the thingy for the college she said my estimated grades for those lessons are D. I do fail at maths but I reckon I'll get atleast a C in both of them.
For Christmas I got a new gaming PC and it's pretty sweet, after some bother getting a new CPU and mobo things seem to be running fine, my specs:
E8400 @ 3.0ghz
nForce P6N SliV2 650i
2GB DDR2 Ram
nVidia 8600gt 512mb
Kinda cheaped out on the graphics card, but it does the job and plus it's kinda only temporary until the 9800s come out which should be in a few weeks, but I'm kinda thinking maybe I should just wait for 9800s to come out and get an 8800gt since the prices will drop, because 8800s destroy all games except Crysis and a 9800 is also gunna destroy all games apart from Crysis so basically there's no point in getting a 9800... perhaps i'll go with an 8800gt.
In other news this Wednesday @ 12 O'Clock I'm going to get my first tattoo!
I went into a tattoo shop with my mum and booked it for this Wednesdday, it's nothing large or anything specific just a cool little design thing which I'm going to get on my bicep, I was thinking of getting the Kanye West bear but it'd probably cost quite a bit of money for him to draw it up and such, the one I'm getting on Wednesday is only some small thing and that's gunna cost like £50.
As for games... well I aint got into anything new, played COD4 over Christmas, it took like ~5 hours to complete, that game ****** rocks, the storyline is awesome and I'm currently playing through it again but I'm taking my time this time
havn't played much of Crysis, don't really like it that much. I also go Assasin's Creed for PS3 for Christmas but the only time I played it was when my family came around and my little cousin was playing it, i drove around on a horse for a little bit...wasn't too interesting
It's kinda sad that my mum spent so much on the PS3 and I never even touch it, there's just no point - everything it does can be done on a PC only better (and my pc is like a CM from my PS3) and as for games there just isn't anything eye catching on the PS3, perhaps except for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Suppose things will change once GTAIV is released, I doubt there'll be a moment where I'm off the PS3 ![]()
Well that's about it for now, till next time

Forgot to mention, great news - Ryan Davis and Jeff Gerstmann have started there own games website and It's going to be kick ass
check it out here it's called Giant Bomb and they also do a weekly podcast called the Giant Bombcast, definitley worth checking out. They're gunna do all the general stuff GameSpot does, it's going to have video game reviews, previews, DRINK reviews (oh yeah) and ofcourse forums.
