I only have one real critique for this movie overall...and that is the part with the puppet. I was a little concerned at the idea especially for a Disney show for children. For humor perhaps but it's definitely something you may have to sit down and discuss afterwards with small children with lots of questions.
Other than that, I enjoyed it. I feel as though the first entering of the Robinson mansion is a little too "caffinated" for my liking, but it kicked out some riotous moments so nothing to be too disappointed with there. Some of my favorite scenes are definitely between Lewis and Wilbur after Lewis learns why he can't stay in the future. And it's especially funny when Franny actually steps up as a disciplining mom when Cornelius returns. Again, I love the commanding tone young Franny takes with Wilbur at the science fair. Very cute connection...once a mom always a mom I guess. The movie wraps itself up most charmingly. Everything works the way it should. Maybe no surprises along the way, save one, but still splendidly done. The last half an hour to forty minutes makes this movie really worth the viewing. And the whole space time continuum concept isn't so fuzzy in this movie that it doesn't make sense. Instead it offers a fun and quirky plotline and adds to the overall humor.

Emmy Clarke graces every episode of Monk that she appears in. She creates an excellent balance-of young and sweet with the common headstrong attitude that goes along with any regular girl that age- for her character. She steals some scenes with her talent, but doesn't overcrowd the older actors as some young stars have a tendency to do. Overall, I believe Emmy Clarke is on the right path. And who knows...maybe someday we'll read an article with the headline: "Emmy wins an Emmy".

Ricky or Raviv Ullman is honestly one of the best actors Disney has ever delivered. His performances are well rounded and not flat and stale like other actors/actresses. On Phil of the Future alone, he has shown his many sides:

1)On one side, it's obvious he's not embarrased to get down and dirty when it comes to the sake of humour. Evidence-In the episode Virtu-Date where he actually sticks his finger up someone else's nose!

2)And then on another note, there's his supportive friend role. Although in the show he sometimes seems like an easy pushover, it's really just that he knows how to be a good friend.

3)And then there's the good brother. Who wouldn't want a brother like Phil. (besides all the girls who'd rather date him!) in the midst of chaos he sticks up for his devious little sister, Pim. I'm sure this is a reflection of his relationship with his real-life siblings.

4)Of course there's the seiorus side. The side that knows when it's time to stop goofing off and take things serious.

5)And last but not least there's the prince-charming side. The side that makes every girl's heart melt when they watch him act. The side that lets you know he's probably one of the most down-to-earth, fun to be around guys out there and that it pours out from the depths of his heart while he acts.

So there you have just 5 of the many sides of Ricky as portrayed in Phil of the Future only. Proving once again that Ricky has been destined for greatness.
