Just a small update:

Hey everyone! I haven't blogged in what, months? But I am still here and trying to be as active as possible. Around the BradHummr house things are going well. I've been busy lately with family and stuff and in the summer my computer time goes down. I will continue to try and comment on your blogs.

As for gaming updates, I decided to splurge and I saved up and bought a year of Gamefly. So far I have rented:

Scores Baja International 1000 (360) Beat it with all the achievements in three days.

Ghostbusters DS (DS) Rented this for my younger bro, he got bored pretty quickly and it took me about five days to beat the game.

Red Faction Guerrilla (360) Currently rented out.

It was also my birthday on the 23rd (Of July) and apparently my family got some great deals on some games. I ended up getting nine 360 games!

The Orange Box

Sega Rally Revo

Namco Museum Virtual Arcade

Bioshock

Timeshift

Battlefield Bad Company (Beat the campaign on normal already. Waiting on mutliplayer but will go through on hard for the achievements)

Need for Speed Most Wanted

Baja Edge of Control

Dirt

I'm having a ton of fun with all of them so far. Hope you all are doing well and having fun!

Whoa -- nine games for your birthday? I'm apparently at that point where a cake is pretty much everything I get for my birthday. But that sounds nice -- you got some cool stuff. The Orange Box is amazing, and both Bioshock and Bad Company look excellent.

Cool deal, man. I love Gamefly in that it lets me try pretty much all the games I'm interested in without shelling out the full price to buy them. Sounds like you also got some awesome games for your b-day, not least of all Bioshock and The Orange Box.

I remember playing Need for Speed Most Wanted on PS2 awhile ago. I've yet to finish it, however.

@Aragorn33 :: Thanks a lot! Indeed I was going to consult something to find the gold.

@bluej33 :: Well I was only expecting like two, maybe three tops. However, they are all older or cheap games and as I mentioned my family said they got some really good deals and I believe some for free somehow. @usagi704 :: I sure have been!

@dragonking64 :: Whoa. =O I never knew that. xD Happy Belated Birthday!

@GeekyDad :: Yep, that's the whole reason I decided to get Gamefly. Red Faction Guerrilla and Prototype were the final straws. I wanted to play them so badly but a purchase wasn't a good idea.

@hart704 :: I played the demo (For the 360 version) and really enjoyed it, plus I wanted to get some earlier Need for Speeds while the newer ones go down in price (Undercover). I figure I can get NFS Undercover when NFS Shift comes out, while NFS Prostreet is already down to $20. So I can get that too. So far I'm having fun with it.

Nice. I'm not a huge fan of renting games but Gamefly sounds like a nice deal. Also, the Orange Box is a pretty good game, if just thanks to Portal and TF2 (although I didn't like HL2 much).

@GamerJM :: I too am a little indifferent about Half Life 2. I have played about an hour and a half into it and while it has some really cool ideas, after all the hype I'm a little disappointed! It IS fun and perhaps with more time into the game I'll start to appreciate it more.
