Is Ripping legal?

with my movie maker it isn't letting me do .zip files don't know why any suggestions please share other than that I saw u can download a ripper or buy it. I'm not sure if it is legal or not. It can rip files to be stuff that movie maker accepts. Any suggestions please share/add.

Jack and Angela clips

I figured out how to use moviemaker thanks to some help now I need good Jack and Angela clips beyond-bickering is great but it only has booth and brennan clips help!
