So tonight I went to the Silverchair and Powderfinger concert - two big Australian bands - two of the biggest actually (Oz thread can back me up there!) Anyway, so it was the intermission, and all the lights came on, and you know in between acts how the venue plays random songs over the sound system?? Well, the lights came on, I'm mid-conversation with my brother...mid-sentence actually.... when I find myself stopping dead still, mouth gaping like a fish. Then suddenly grinning like a fool, clapping my hands together repeatedly and a little squeal escapes my lips....

It was Hot Blooded.

Now, let me point out that I am a huge Powderfinger fan, and yet still this coming on was the highlight of my night! It was also my first ever experience of Hot Blooded playing while I'm out and about somewhere... it was no let down!!!! Well worth the wait!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to give the high-kick its full justice... but I did sing-a-long and bob up and down

I don't think I ever finished the conversation with my brother. He was a little embarrassed about my sudden mental-person grinning outburst.... But hello, I mean what kind of committed Bones fan would I be if I did not honor THE BB Anthem??? Pfft! No way I'm letting the team down!!!

Anyway, i was so proud and excited, i wanted to share my moment with the Bones world!

P.S - I thought of you all... I was quite upset that I wasn't with anyone who could fully understand and share in my excitement. Think I need to shrink y'all down and carry you about in my pocket!!!
