Hey guys, sorry I have not been on in a really log time. I will try to keep up on the whole blogging thing. As for the question I had last time on which game I should buy, I ended up getting Fallout 3 and loved it. It is really fun to play and I love the exploration. I also dowloaded Operation Anchorage and the Pitt and loved them both too. I am hoping to get Broken Steel as well. I never really bought DLC's until recently I bought the Pitt, Operation Anchorage, Gears 2 Snowblind maps, and CODWAW map pack, I enjoy all of them especially the new zombie map. I also got Mass Effect for apresent but haven't played it too much. Well I will hopefully get back to you on a new blog soon and I will start commenting on you blogs as well.
Fallout 3, Dead Space, or Resistance 2
I am leaning toward Fallout 3 but the other two look really awsome so what is your advice or opinion, which one do you think I should get?
Most Dissapointing Game nominees (Most of them game demo's because I didn't buy these)
1. Super Smash Brothers Brawl- Wii fanboys don't hate me but I don't see the appeal of this game. It isn't terrible but it was so hyped up for something that wasn't that incredible and it also seemed very repetitive when I played it at my friends house.
2. Alone in the Dark- As I said I only played the demo but from what I can see the only appealing thing about the game is the graphics because everything from controls to the story were very poorly done. Sure there is the updated version for PS3 but as I played that demo for that I realized that all of these things should have already been fixed.
3. Legendary the Box- The story, gameplay, and the mythical creatures made this game look very fun but the same creators that ruined Turning Point do what they do best, think of a great idea and then mess up on everything else. All I did was play the demo but that was enough for me.
The winner is
Legendary the Box- I am a huge fan of FPS and this game looked promising but that was before I found out who the developer was. After reading a couple of previews I thought that it was going to be a very fun game but it turned out to be one of the worst games this holiday season and is the most disappointing game for me.
Playstation Home Impressions
In the Playstation Home beta you can play pool, bowl, and dance with other random people, but for some reason none of this stuff was fun for me. It wasn't appealing to me to go around and play a bunch of mini games, and there really isn't anything else to do. Now this is only the beta but I hope that they change a lot of things before this hyped edition to the PS3 is released. And the fact that you have to buy clothes and accessories is ridiculous, and before someone says that you can get clothes from trophies, you still have to buy a game to get trophies.
Call of Duty World at War
The simple fact that this game is in the nominees for game of the year for me shows that I really enjoyed this game. There was a lot of people saying that it wasn't going to be good because it was made by Treyarch but this game was just as good as Call of Duty 4. The single player is fun and intense and I like how they hired Jack Baur to do the voice over but the other guy that says "our recon plane will find them!" has got to be the most annoying voice ever in gaming. Overall though it isn't better than COD4 but it isn't as bad as COD3.
