So the past two years have pretty much been about disappointing for the game industry IMO. I've seen a lot of games fly by with no farfare because all of a sudden yer a noob to like it, and a fake to hate it. I just don't get it. With every new release becoming a game where it is impossible to lose more and people are screaming at eachopther who's casual and hardcore. And it's ****ing annoying. Gamers just rant and pull random games outta their ass that they have heard of and try and explain it like they know what the hell it's all about and constantkly do the "in my day" thing. And a majority of the time the facts these asshats present about the games are way far off. This stuff about System Shock and Bioshock has to end. I bet you five bucks these kids don't know a single thing about System Shock and why it's 10x better than Bioshock. Or Donkey Kong Country, Zelda, Half-Life, etc. Everything is becoming so idiot friendly, too. Escapist Magazine is one fo the few game related sites that points of how dumb games and gamers are becoming. Difficulty is a thing of the past, everything is friggin' fan fare, and games practially tell you how to do everything just so you can feel good about gettin' that trophy/achievement. Hell, just playing the game anymore warrants you an award. Just for playing. wtf? Then he labeling appears. No matter how you view Assassin's Creed 2, yer a noob. Why? Because back in my day there was a game that did something and was like WHOA. Rachet and Clank? gfjdbf. Remember that one game? You had to do soemthing like CRAZY and it was like so awesome compalred to that garbage RnC. As long as you have an opinion on a game, yer a **** and should die because yer not as 1337 as omgsnake1993skillz and h4rdcoarGamer94.

This is a blog about eleventeen years behind but I got smacked with teh flu yesterday morning. It's 10x worse today because I didn't call off work yesterday. My job is working on a wood oven, too, so I was constantly moving and sweating and standing next to a 800 degree oven. By time I got home and my body took everything in the drop in temperature just set my immune system into a tail spin. I've been asleep since 11:15 last night =3. I hate being sick. I haven't had the flu since some time in high school. At first I thought it was food poisoning from a restaurant near my hometown since I wasn't the only one feeling ill on Monday. Unfortunately where I live now is seeing record numbers of flu/H1N1 and I managed to contract the regular flu. And even after pumping myself full of medication nothing has helped. Well, natural stuff has. An green apple and some oolong tea made me feel a hell of a lot better than flu medicine. Thus reinforcing my stand on never taking medicine. Bleh.
So, back to two weeks ago. So Yahtzee nailed the Uncharted 2 review. I love the game, don't get me wrong. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it almost great. I really was hoping for a little bit more challenging puzzles, less cliche (hard to do I know) and was kinda disappointed in the supernatual aspect of it this time around. I like the over the top action of Uncharted because I'm a fan of movies like National Treasure and Indiana Jones (original 3). But this time it was like waaaayyyy over the top. The giant golden dagger, yeah that was pretty cool. Some of the blue enemies... what? I understand why they are blue and I thought the last few levels were gorgeous. But.. what did you say Scooby? Yeah. That moment also was a big let down. Also in absolute random news... the next Denzel Washington movie "unstoppable" is being filmed in my home town and neighboring Bellaire. http://www.wtov9.com/news/21636772/detail.html My city is Steubenville, the one with the bridge. But.. .I feel so bad for Mr. Washington. He must feel terrible having to stay in my home area. There's nothing there. All our steel mills are shut down but 1-2. Gang violence is through the roof, the nuclear plant contantly polluted the river, hoopies from West Virginia (nuff sed), bah. It's a poor, ragged, run down area. I figured to be shooting a film in those areas the film would have to be about a poor town/****ty town. But it's a thriller? I guess the look and feel of the area makes the mood though. Hell, why not go to Cleveland lol.

So new Mass Effect 2trailer out today. They revealed a little too much in my opinion but they do it in a way that not too much is revealed. But yeah, the Collectors deal was way predictable. Legion was finally revealed even though the whole ME gaming community knew about him. Er.. it? The Geth are awesome in their own right but Legion is gonna add a lot to their story. He's also a lot more interesting than Grunt and Sub Zero. It was only a matter of time before they had a Geth that thinks for himself instead of in a collective group. I wonder if it has anything to do with Bioware's Halloween Shepard wallpaper. I have a feeling it does. Oh yeah and Garrus is returning. woot woot.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like BodomBeachChild.
BodomBeachChild must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could BodomBeachChild possibly have for not rating a single film?
